𝘕𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘈𝘤𝘵, the 15th studio album from Steep Canyon Rangers, is a vibrant return to the band’s bluegrass foundation, infused with fresh energy and heartfelt storytelling. Founding Ranger @grahamsharpmusic delivers some of his most compelling songwriting to date, crafting songs that are rich in tradition yet strikingly relevant. The recent addition of powerhouse vocalist @aaronburdett brings a new emotional depth to the group’s sound, his voice seamlessly blending with the band’s signature harmonies. Featuring special guest appearances by Steve Martin and @ediebrickellofficial, 𝘕𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘈𝘤𝘵 is both a celebration of the band’s roots and a bold step forward. With virtuosic musicianship, thoughtful lyrics, and a renewed creative spark, this album captures the essence of who the Rangers are: seasoned artists still pushing boundaries, still telling great stories.

Out Now: @elipaperboyreed - “Nobody But Me”

A country soul cover of the Blake Shelton classic, Eli Paperboy Reed dedicates this song to the late, great Roscoe Robinson:

“In 2006, my band was hired to back up Roscoe. I was extremely surprised to find “Nobody But Me” on Roscoe’s list of suggestions for his set! Roscoe and I went on to have a 20-year friendship. He mentored me throughout my career, came and sang at my wedding, and helped me through the many trials and tribulations of a life in music. Roscoe passed away this year at the age of 97, but before he did, I was able to visit him in the hospital and play him my version of “Nobody But Me.” It sure made him smile.”

My take on a song originally recorded by @blakeshelton —but this one goes back almost 20 years for me.

I first heard it on my local country station (shoutout @country1025wklb ) and immediately heard Country Soul. So did my future mentor, Roscoe Robinson—he even talked about adding it to his set.

Roscoe and I became close over the years. He mentored me, sang at my wedding, and helped guide me through this life in music.

Before he passed this year at 97, I played him my version in the hospital. It made him smile.

This one’s for Roscoe.
