Young Ocean Explorers
Inspiring kids to love & protect the ocean 🌊 Storytelling • Education • Action 🌏 Sharing Aotearoa’s underwater story to the world!
We’re stoked to share this video … our most important one yet. For People Like Us. 💙
On June 25 we’re heading to Parliament to hand the Prime Minister thousands of letters from rangatahi across Aotearoa calling for a better future for our moana.
We’ll also choose one letter writer and fly them, along with their guardian, to Wellington to help hand the letters to the PM.
Please share this with teachers, parents, schools and young people who may want to be part of it.
✍️ Any young person can send a letter here (no email needed): https://survey.typeform.com/to/ismhXnkw (link in bio)
Aotearoa protects 30% of our land, yet only 0.38% of our ocean is fully protected.
But this is about more than letters.
It’s about giving young people a voice.
It’s about hope.
It’s about showing them their ideas, passion and love for the moana can help shape the future of our country.

How much of our moana is fully protected in Aotearoa?🫠
We had some fun interviewing a few well known kiwis in our wetsuits. And so great having discussions about the state of the ocean.

One spark of curiosity can change the tide for an entire generation.
For many of us, childhood by the sea was filled with moments of wonder — snorkeling over bustling coral reefs or searching tide pools for flashes of orange sea stars and purple crabs. When those memories live in our hearts, we notice when the coral fades or when the tide pools feel emptier.
A child who grows up connected to the ocean understands its value and the scale of the loss if we fail to protect it. But not every child gets that chance.
That’s why @youngoceanexplorers bring the ocean to kids in ways that spark wonder, knowledge, and a lifelong drive to protect it.
For @100fortheocean, we made a short film that shares their story.

Snells beach school sang happy birthday to Sir David on Friday!
It’s rare for one voice to connect so many people across generations, but somehow Sir David Attenborough has done exactly that 🌎💙
We had the incredible opportunity to hang out and surf with Veronica Rotman on Thursday! 🌊
Veronica is a marine scientist, PhD student, one half of @nzoceannews, and an all-round powerful wāhine making waves in the ocean space.
We loved hearing about her deep connection to the moana, and can’t wait to share more of our kōrero with you soon 🐟
To give every rangatahi a chance to use their voice there are multiple ways to add a letter to our campaign for more marine protection in Aotearoa!

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
