A little more joy just arrived at @centralmainehealthcare 🧡

We’re proud to unveil a new Dunkin’ Joy Space at Central Maine Medical Center’s pediatric waiting room—a refreshed area designed to make waiting a little brighter, made possible through a $85,000 Joyful Spaces Grant.

From a vibrant, locally inspired mural by Serafim Yssolo (@yssolo92), to an interactive Draw Alive wall where kids can watch their creations come to life, every detail was thoughtfully designed with children in mind. The calming bubble wall offers a quieter, screen-free moment, while colorful, kid-friendly seating (plus our signature pink & orange donut pillows🍩) adds a playful touch.

We were also joined by former Patriot Rob Ninkovich and Pat Patriot, who made the unveiling even more special.

Heart of Maine 🌿🎨🦋

Serafim Yssolo’s (@yssolo92) latest mural, Heart of Maine, is brightening up Central Maine Pediatrics in Lewiston!

Heart of Maine uses bold colors to highlight both the natural beauty and cultural richness of Maine in a way that welcomes children and their families.

In the words of Yssolo:

The inspiration came from the desire to capture the intrinsic beauty and cultural richness of Maine in a way that could be appreciated by children. I wanted to create a piece that was more than decorative – one that could cultivate admiration and curiosity in young minds. The aim was to convey a message of love and respect for nature and for the community we inhabit, highlighting Maine’s iconic aspects and the importance of environmental conservation.

[Central Maine Pediatrics] is a space where children face health challenges and where a positive atmosphere can significantly impact their recovery and well-being. I hope the community sees this mural as an investment in the mental and emotional health of children and as a reflection of the care that the community has for its youngest members.

With future projects, Yssolo hopes to continue to create art that promotes well-being and community. We can’t wait to see what he will do next!

Swipe to see images of Heart of Maine at Central Maine Pediatrics!

Urban Symphony: Celebration of Childhood and Connection with Nature 🎨🌿🏡

New Mural in the City of Lewiston by Serafim Yssolo @yssolo92 - up in Lionel Potvin Park now!!

Yssolo says: “Urban Symphony highlights the connection between all forms of life. It provides the opportunity for people to connect with Lewiston, both the urban community and the natural world through vibrant color, shapes, and figures…It is an ode to the dynamics of modern life that preserves the innocence and imagination of children, while also paying tribute to urban biodiversity, incorporating symbolic elements of local fauna and flora.”

Urban Symphony is the final public art project implemented with funding through the Growing our Tree Streets, Choice Neighborhood Transformation Plan for Downtown Lewiston. The plan aims to improve the lives of people living in the Tree Streets Neighborhood by focusing on increasing access to safe and affordable housing, supporting youth, fostering community and inclusivity, bolstering educational outcomes, and growing local ownership and economic development. LA Arts partnered with the City of Lewiston’s Public Art Committee and Public Works to work with Yssolo and administer the funds for this phenomenal capstone grant project.

The mural, Urban Symphony, is located across from Picker House Lofts, a recent redevelopment of the historic Continental Mill on the Androscoggin River. Yssolo’s context-specific mural compliments and amplifies this redevelopment, offering the community a space for greater connection to all living things.

Here, photos by Harold Strout of @kittyhawk_photography show Yssolo’s process in creating the mural (cropped from the original here to meet the format of IG posts). There always seemed to be an audience when the Artist Serafim Yssolo was painting!

Be sure to check out the finished mural in Lionel Potvin Park! We’re so grateful to have such inspiring talent like this in our community♥️ Thanks for all you do to beautify our community, Yssolo, and thank you Harold for capturing the process!

“Transfoming Scraps into Art”The Mwana Pwo mask from the Chokwe tradition is much more than a simple representation of beauty and femininity. It carries with it the strength, wisdom, and ancestry of the women of this culture. This work of art invites us to reflect on the importance of preserving cultural roots and recognizing the fundamental role of women in shaping the identity of a people.
In the modern world, where many traditions are being lost, the Mwana Pwo mask serves as a reminder of the importance of honoring and valuing the contribution of women throughout history. It reminds us of our connection to past generations and the need to keep tradition alive, carrying a message of respect, admiration, and gratitude for the female lineage that sustains and enriches the Chokwe community.
Therefore, the Mwana Pwo mask is not just a piece of art, but a powerful symbol that invites us to celebrate the strength and wisdom of women, recognizing their fundamental role in building and preserving Chokwe culture and, by extension, all of humanity. #comtemporaryart #artgallery #artcurator #recycle#environment #africart #yssoloatelier @indigoartsalliance @lewistonauburnarts

In English, it is said: “I liked this painting”, but in Art we say:
Your gaze shines like the morning sun
That warms my soul and makes me dream
The feminine softness in every stroke
Is a divine work that makes me sigh#artwork #reciclagem #oilpainting #cosmosart #galaxyart #contemporaryart #art_viral #artcollective #artdiscover #artfeatureland #artfinder #artfollow #artoftheday #artsviral #artsy #dailyarts #dsart #instaartist

The Goddess of Blackness

At the banquet of nations, my duty to reclaim the identity of my sacred people is a responsibility that is not for sale, and a sovereign identity that is non-negotiable.
For in me is rooted the dark glow of the beauty of my blackness and the infinite wealth of a wise eternity that lives in the depths of the oceans of the richness of a homeland that cannot be studied in academies but admired in the winds of art. It is not represented or understood in the buildings of religious branches but celebrated for the value that each being of cultural diversity deserves its divine imperial share.
Yes, I am the Goddess of your blackness and the Goddess of your eternal humanity "without color."
The poetry that my eyes distill is to reclaim the value that each beat of the heart's traits of our excellence as human beings deserves, not a battle fought in an invisible field of insensitivity by those who also feel the same pain if a stone falls on their foot or bleeds if a knife cuts their finger.
For there is no country without a homeland, and no children without the maternal womb of their existence.
Thus, it does not diminish the taste of the wind to feel the rich value that characterizes you as an authentic and divine being.
"For I am a Goddess, not a Stepmother Slave."

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
