It has been a (blessed) challenge for me to imagine how to follow the previous iteration held over a year ago at our beloved Sass, and finally can confidently say this space and show sets the perfect container for the emotive and explorative experience this project intends to deliver. It reflects on the current condition of the fashion industry, its workforce and the political climate that shapes it. The collection examines consumerism through the use of dead stock selvedge denim sourced from Vidalia Mills in Vidalia, Louisiana a once vital American denim producer that closed in late 2024. By working with these remaining materials the project captures a moment of transition, loss and reflection within the industry.

We're a few hours away from my exhibition @antenna.works and I feel an immense gratitude. Every piece in the exhibition is special to me and I'm looking forward to sharing them with you.

I'll be sharing the space with women I admire and love. Thank you @gvbrielamaj , @elizawapner.studio, @_flora_cabili, @chancleta._ and @rileyteahan for coming along for the ride and contributing your creativity and time to help bring this into reality.
