The Studio - A mirror that frames my innermost being.

At times in my life, the studio is the only place I’ve found unconditional joy and the essence of belonging.

These spaces I call home to personal dreams, creations and sentiments. A rollercoaster journey of investments, evolving throughout my dance career.

The magic of dance lies in the ability to express emotions and tell stories through movement. These elements define my existence and I am continually blessed to hold this art form so close day in and day out.

As a retired professional dancer, the absence of the stage and being a part of a dance company leaves a bittersweet void. The constant desire to return is often felt but the multiple highs I’ve experienced forever remain.

A huge “Thank You” goes out to my talented friend and colleague @lauravanriper for sharing knowledge, passion and your craft with my @sheffielddance students. Moving without judgment is freeing and moments like this are truly appreciated.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of a true legend in the dance world, Judy Rice. To know Judy was to know pure love & true exuberance for life and DANCE. Judy’s ballet classes were one of a kind — so joyous and full of the most contagious energy. It was a pleasure to spend time with her at @reveldanceconvention National Finals the past 2 summers in Orlando. Fly high, Miss Judy — you’re dancing with the angels now. 🪽
