Nine months after sustaining a life-changing spinal cord injury, @cam.treble returned to the surf last week 🌊

With unwavering determination and supported by the awesome @waveprojectuk team that made the unpredictable environment feel safe, he caught his first green waves since the injury.

A true testament to personal resilience, the healing power of the sea, and the community that holds us up when we need it most.

#SurfTherapy gave Cerys a place where she could feel safe, supported and like she belongs. When she first joined @waveprojectnorthdevon , she felt unsure and apprehensive. But over time, we watched her confidence grow in the water, and beyond. She progressed through Surf Therapy, then Surf Club… and now she’s one of our brilliant volunteer Surf Mentors!
