The only week of the year when I brag about my yard….

Getting a chance to meet people like Margaret Wickens Pearce is the best part of my job. Margaret trudged thru the Maine woods and scrambled over rocks - all while it was snowing in the middle of December - to make the shoot happen. She was willing to give all of my portrait ideas a try, which is such a gift.

As always, every project with my amazing photo editor @julie_hau is a blast. And special thanks to my high school bestie @annezimmermanart who paused her home renovation project to assist 😉

When the wedding winds down and it’s time to jump in the lake…

In April, Mark and I spent a few hours with ocean explorer @katycroffbell on @afternoon_delights_ri with captain Ian Campbell. I was literally hanging off the back of the boat to make this portrait. We were cold, a little wet and it was so, so fun. You can never pull these shoots off without a team and we had a great one. Katy’s portrait is running online today with print to come!! 📷 #ri #newengland #oceans #nationalgeographic

Sibling antics on #caltonhill. There were nospinning batons of fire and all visitors kept their clothes on so it was a little tamer than when I was last here 😂
