That’s a wrap on Creative Industries Week 2026! 🎉
Officially proclaimed by the Government of British Columbia, this annual celebration highlights the strength and impact of the province’s creative sector. Last week, beginning April 20, industry associations, creators, key stakeholders, and government came together for a week of meaningful programming and connection.
The week kicked off with BC Book Day, followed by industry roundtables and a vibrant showcase at the Legislature’s Rotunda. The celebration continued in the Hall of Honour, where key partners showcased the work they do to support B.C.’s creative ecosystem.
