Another @nftsmodelmaking project! A replica prop scalpel from one of my favourite films: Tim Burton’s Sleepy Hollow. Fibreglass resin cast over a soldered metal core. And it actually works! The scalpel blade wiggles when you squeeze the handle (don’t worry, it can’t actually cut anything).

Stay in action! This was my first animation with my ball and socket armature puppet. As you can probably see, I’m not an animator, but it was fun to see what I could get done in a short time.

Another older creation; this is Cillian, my dark elf child. He’s also my first ball-jointed doll! Made from polymer clay and wood, painted in acrylic. Clothes made from recycled cloth and hair made of viscose.

A collection of crocheted critters. I learnt to crochet over lockdown and my favourite things to make are these little sprites. The pattern is by the talented @fantasysprites and for the latest one I made a little face out of polymer clay painted in acrylic. And now they are off on an adventure!

A not so common-plaice! I made this little 1:6 scale chap right at the start of the @nftsmodelmaking course, and I’m so happy that they plaiced their trust in me to make him. Isn’t he sofishticated? It just goes to shoal that anyfin is possible. As you can sea, I’m fishing for compliments about him- ok, I’m floundering, these jokes are a bit flat. My good puns all got misplaiced… Ahem.

This is Shay, a non-binary teenager on their way to their first pride parade. They are also my very first fully armatured stop motion puppet, created at the @nftsmodelmaking course this year!
The brief was to create an @aardmananimations style puppet that would fit in with Shaun the Sheep, and after a few different ideas I realised I just had to make a character who represented the lgbtq+ community, especially enbies (non-binary folks) like myself!
I hope you like them. I’ll post some work in progress pics soon.
