That’s how many Democrats voted to lower your taxes & for no tax on tips, overtime, or social security.

Republicans passed the largest tax cuts in history last year & I am proud that Texans are reaping these benefits despite the Democrats’ opposition.

Always great to catch up with my friend Larry Keane & other @thenssf leadership about how Republicans can fight for protections for the firearms industry against frivolous lawsuits brought by progressive anti-gun groups.

While liberal blue states & Democrat-run cities continue to pass unconstitutional laws that infringe on our 2nd Amendment rights, Texas continues to support law-abiding gun owners & the right for all Americans to keep and bear arms.

Great to visit with County Judges from Anderson, Cass, Cherokee, Hopkins, and Shelby counties. These judges reflect strong East Texas values & I appreciate them joining yesterday to discuss the importance of improving rural healthcare through the Rural Health Transformation Program that @repnatemoran and I fought to deliver.

Trump Derangement Syndrome causes Democrats to choose the wrong side of every issue on every occasion. 

We saw that at the State of the Union, and now Dems are choosing the side of the number one state sponsor of terrorism, Iran.
 
I applaud @potus for his courage. Our military has operated in magnificent fashion.

It was an honor to see @uscg Petty Officer Scott Ruskan, who along with his aircrew helped rescue more than 160 campers during the catastrophic floods last year in Central Texas.
 
Scott is the Grand Marshal of this year’s Houston Rodeo Parade, & I join Texans in thanking him for his heroism & bravery.
 
He is an exemplary American & I know the Lone Star State is forever grateful for his courage.

The liberal media wants you to believe that the SAVE America Act will prevent 21 million Americans who don't have the proper documents from registering to vote.

This claim is RIDICULOUS.

We have voter ID in Texas & have options in place for people who don't have IDs. The only reason to oppose voter ID is to make it easier to CHEAT & the Democrats know that.

As we reflect on the first half of the 119th Congress, I’m proud to see several of my bills prioritizing the needs of hardworking, God-fearing Texans signed into law by @potus.

Some of the biggest wins for Texans that I fought for & were signed into law are:

- A provision to reimburse states like Texas $13.5 billion for stepping up to secure the southern border during the Biden admin.
- Reducing burdensome taxes on certain firearms & silencers to $0.
- An amendment to the Laken Riley Act, which requires DHS to detain illegal aliens who assault law enforcement officers, until they are removed from the U.S. so they don’t commit further crimes.
- The Jocelyn Nungaray National Wildlife Refuge Act, which codifies President Trump’s Executive Order to rename a Texas wildlife refuge to honor Jocelyn’s life after she was murdered by illegal aliens.
- Bringing the Space Shuttle Discovery home by fighting to move the Discovery from Virginia to its rightful home at Space Center Houston.
- The Stop the Screwworms with Active Readiness and Mitigation (SWARM) Act to require the USDA to present details to Congress on the domestic readiness & response initiatives to combat the New World screwworm.

Some of our most impactful achievements for Texans were in the Working Families Tax Cuts:

- Avoiding a $3,000 tax increase on Texas families.
- Making the Trump Tax Cuts permanent & strengthening border security.
- Including a modified version of my Small Business Investment Act, which makes it easier for small & start-up businesses to access the financing they need to succeed.

All these efforts & more will allow families & businesses across the Lone Star State to thrive.

This is just a glimpse of what we were able to accomplish for Texans last year.

While Republicans have accomplished historic wins for Americans in 2025 with President Trump at the helm, there is more work to do.

I look forward to building on this progress as we work hand-in-glove with @realdonaldtrump to enact his agenda & deliver even more results for the American people. 🇺🇸
