It turns out that a pile of salvaged technology and a goal to spark curiosity is a winning business formula in downtown Victoria. Monkey C’s Artcade skips the screens to focus on tactile experiences built from recycled parts, an inventive approach to play that earned the collective a 10 to Watch award this year.

1. If your went to Dusk Victoria your probably saw a few of @monkeycinteractive ‘s pieces but did you know you can checkout their full collection at ARTCADE?

2. @supplyvictoria creative reuse has a pay what you can model keeping crafting and art accessible for everyone.

3. Courthouse Playground (850 Burdett Ave)

4. @ohgelatogovernmentst gelato, ice cream, sorbet and more treats! In the off season they have a few games set up.

5. @heyyacarts has various pickup spots downtown with 4-8 seat options and booster seats are available to borrow! A great way to make getting around downtown fun.

6. @pinhallapinball the pizza here is so good + fries, salads and more options to enjoy while the kids play games.

Monkey C Interactive’s Artcade is celebrating its second anniversary by offering three free entry Thursdays for seniors (ages 60+) and post-secondary students (with valid student ID), sponsored by the City of Victoria’s Storefront Activation program.

Free entry Senior & Post-Secondary Student Thursdays will take place on the last Thursday of January, February and March 2026, during business hours (2pm-10pm).
