📣 Announcing our global representation of the Constantin Brancusi Estate.
-
Regarded as one of the most important figures of 20th-century sculpture and a pioneer of Modernism, #ConstantinBrancusi is known for his rigorous inquiries into the material and conceptual possibilities of elemental forms in space.
-
Working in concentrated series across decades of his career, he created iconic, impactful sculptures that have inspired generations of artists, from his contemporaries in the School of Paris to the Minimalists and beyond. Brancusi’s 1917 work “Danaïde,” from the collection of the late media mogul S.I. Newhouse, goes on the auction block at @christiesinc in New York later today. Our representation of the Estate was reported in @artnet by @katyakazakina, as well as @artnews.
-
Our first major exhibition of the sculptor's work, curated by Dr. Jérôme Neutres, will be held at #PaceLondon this fall. Ahead of our show, a major survey of Brancusi’s work at the Neue Nationalgalerie (@neuenationalgalerie) in Berlin, produced in collaboration with the Centre Pompidou (@centrepompidou), is on view through August 9, 2026.

💦 Splash into summer at @lacma, where Alexander Calder’s large-scale fountain sculpture “Three Quintains” anchors the northeast corner of the newly opened David Geffen Galleries.
-
The work was initially commissioned for the museum’s original William Pereira–designed campus, which opened in 1965. Calder also designed a poster commemorating the museum’s opening, causing his imprint to be baked into the DNA of the place, notes LACMA’s director and chief executive Michael Govan.
-
“Calder is perennial,” Alexander S. C. Rower, president of the @calderfoundation, told the @latimes. “A lot of people who arrive here not knowing anything about this artist will be excited that there isn’t a bronze here or something static. There’s activity, there’s color, there’s motion, there’s light.”
-
Discover more about #AlexanderCalder at the link in bio.

Now available from #PacePublishing: "Paul Thek: Notebook # 41, 1977" provides an up-close experience of an intimate facet of Thek's practice. 📓

Thek left behind more than 100 notebooks containing drawings, diary entries, poetry, correspondences, ideas for artworks, and elaborate transcriptions of texts by philosophers or theologians. Considered by Thek to be artworks unto themselves, his notebooks offer unparalleled insight into his imagination.
-
In the pages of this facsimile edition of one of his notebooks from 1977, vivid watercolors, lists, scribbles, notes, and sketches reveal glimmers of the inner life of the legendary artist.
-
"Paul Thek: Dream of Vanishing" is on view at our 540 West 25th Street gallery through August 14.

Now on view at #PaceNewYork: "The Moon Room" features 15 iPad paintings of the night sky created by David Hockney at his 17th-century half-timbered farmhouse in Normandy between April and December 2020. 🌔
-
Inspired by his daily observations of the landscape, the artist devoted himself to the iPad, a medium of unique immediacy that allowed him to be prolific in his depictions of his home and the changing seasons in the surrounding countryside.
-
“Once, when we were just sitting outside the house, we put all the lights off in the house to see the moonlight more clearly,” Hockney has said of the making of this series. “The moon could then be seen to cast shadows of the trees on the grass, so with my backlit iPad, I could draw it. This would have been virtually impossible without it.”

At the center of Kenjiro Okazaki’s (@kenjirookazaki) theoretical and artistic practice is the idea of time as a constraint—one that art makes visible, only to overcome it.
-
His upcoming exhibition in London, “Never could be any other way — anagnorisis,” takes its two-part title from both The Beatles and Aristotle. Both name the same structure: the retroactive discovery that what has happened could only have happened this way.
-
For the presentation—Okazaki’s first in the UK—the artist brings together sculptures, large-scale paintings, and a selection of his delicately framed Zero Thumbnail series.
-
📍 Kenjiro Okazaki: Never could be any other way — anagnorisis
🗓️ June 5 – August 7
🗺️ 5 Hanover Square
-
Discover the exhibition at the link in bio.

Artwork: Kenjiro Okazaki, "Et egredietur virga de radice Iesse, et flos de radice eius ascendet. And for all this, nature is never spent. Generations have trod, have trod, have trod. I got old. Landscape plotted and pieced — Off side of my thought? fold, fallow, and plough.
For skies of couple-colour as a brinded cow. The world is charged with the grandeur of God. Whatever is fickle, freckled — And still — it blooms. who knows how? The light is calm. We were struck by the sudden appearance of yucca trees
The blossoms are not. Ring-a-ring o’ roses, come again another day. Praise him. The blossoms that remain are falling blossoms. That day, sunset seeing a butterfly fall. Nothing is so beautiful as Spring — when weeds, in wheels, shoot long and lovely and lush," 2026 © Kenjiro Okazaki, courtesy Pace Gallery

"We want to provide some kind of narratives for the visitors, but not full stories—so they can make their own." — Elmgreen & Dragset

Now on view in #Frankfurt, Elmgreen & Dragset's (@elmgreenanddragsetstudio) exhibition "Stillleben mit Gemüse" ("Still Life with Vegetables") transforms the Städel Museum (@staedelmuseum) into a fascinating interplay of reality and illusion.
-
Sculptures and installations by the duo enter into a dialogue with the architecture and the permanent collection of the museum, opening new and surprising perspectives. "We want to provide some kind of narratives for the visitors, but not full stories—so they can make their own." — Elmgreen & Dragset
