RB26 Development is BACK!

It’s taken some time with our expanding product range, but after plenty of persuasion from many of you, and from the likes of Herman at Platinum Racing Products, we got back to work in early 2025 to revisit the mighty RB26.

We’ve got a full suite of products either released or currently in development for this colossus of a platform. With development based in Sydney, Australia, and access to a strong network of some of the best GT-R and RB builders in the world, we’re fortunate to work closely with those at the top of the industry.

That direct feedback ensures we’re building what serious workshops actually need to meet their customers’ requirements.
A special thanks goes to Alex and the team at Birrong Automotive for being directly involved in the testing of many of the upcoming RB products.

R34 KP700 — signed off on the dyno today. 🔥

Built with one goal in mind: a properly sorted street-driven single turbo RB26 with instant response, brutal midrange, and real top-end power.

This was never meant to be a bloated dyno-number build.
This was about putting together the right package to make a 2.6L RB26 deliver hard, usable power from the midrange all the way to 9000rpm.

The result:
625whp on 95 RON pump fuel
727whp on E70
Under 2 bar of boost

That is serious performance from a small-frame turbo setup.

The brief from the customer was clear:
A 700whp-capable package with quick spool, strong midrange, and proper drivability.
So we kept the combo smart, not excessive.

One of the biggest challenges was making this car work properly on 95 RON pump gas while also delivering on a flex fuel calibration. To make that happen, we loaded the MoTeC M130 with all the necessary support sensors and full engine safety strategies, giving us the confidence to extract maximum performance without stepping beyond safe limits.

The turbo selection with Artec Performance was exactly where it needed to be.
Highly efficient on pump fuel, yet still capable of carrying this setup past 700whp on ethanol.

And the best part?
This thing comes alive at 4500rpm and pulls clean and hard all the way to 9000rpm.
That is a 4500rpm-wide powerband. In a manual car, once you grab the next gear and get back on throttle, boost is right there again.

That is what makes this build special.
Not a 2000whp trailer queen.
Not a spec-sheet hero.
Just a properly engineered R34 that is built to drive hard, feel alive, and break hearts on the street.

MORE details on our NEW ARTEC RB26 Hi Flow Turbo Manifolds 🔥

Not many would know, but the first fully cast and machined one piece manifold ARTEC made was our original RB26 DETT manifolds in 2014.

At that time, we had spent an extensive amount of effort designing, flowing and testing those units before putting them on the market. After selling them for some time, they were discontinued due to us feeling that they weren’t the best they could be anymore.

Fast forward to 2026, and after years of research and development, we are pleased to announce that they are finally BACK! We are now confident that these are the BEST direct fit, stock frame manifolds we could come up with using everything that we have learnt over the years.

We initially teased these manifolds on our display at last years PRI show in Indianapolis, but we didn’t actually show the production units off as we didn’t want to let our new formed metal heatshields out of the bag. One of the design constraints with the OEM turbo manifolds is the retention of the heat shield mounts. These are great for holding the OEM heat shield but when you are doing an all out build and want to show off your engine bay, those crusty heatshields can be a downer.

Some people like to coat their manifolds and show them off, some like to cover them up, and some like a fresh OEM appearance. We went a little further than what others might do, we have created new formed heatshields that will be optional and available in Polished STAINLESS STEEL or Polished TITANIUM! ✨
