Still trying to process this. Hearing that my grandfather was being honored with the Hall of Fame Award of Excellence, and getting that news directly from #dougwilliams and the @commanders, honestly brought me to tears. My grandfather was an incredible photographer, and the first person in our family to ever pick up a camera. As a kid, he was quarantined in a TB unit, and there was a photographer there who let him borrow a camera. That moment changed everything. He never put it down. He went on to work for the Washington Starr, and then for the Washington football team from the day they arrived in DC. I grew up carrying camera cases around RFK for him with my dad, running the sidelines, and meeting the players he didn’t just photograph, but truly called friends. The skins were his family. The team dedicated the 1988 Super Bowl to him. It was the last game he worked. He was dying of cancer. I’m incredibly humbled and deeply grateful for the outpouring of stories over the years from people who knew him and loved him. It means more than I can put into words. HAIL!

On Friday, the art world lost one of its greatest sculptors, Thaddeus Mosley. Based in Pittsburgh, Mosley taught himself to carve ornaments and sculptures from discarded wood. His work eventually grew from his basement to gallery showings in and around Pittsburgh and eventually the world. He carved and assembled trees into abstract pieces of wood resembling that of the work of Isamu Noguchi and Constantin Brancusi and taking inspirations from Western African artwork and Jazz to make something entirely his own.
We are sending our thoughts and condolences to his family during this difficult time.

ICE is terrorizing our cities, our citizens, and our nation’s immigrants. There have been numerous deaths in the detention centers and on our very streets. ICE has shown negligence in public safety, lawful order, and human rights – targeting individuals on the basis of race, ethnicity, and heritage. ICE has shown negligence in killing protesters for asserting their first amendment rights.
We stand with the nationwide strike on ICE.
ABOLISH ICE NOW.

At a moment when human communication feels increasingly fractured, it’s been an honor to help tell a story that reminds us we’re just one of many voices sharing this extraordinary planet.
There is so much to learn—if we’re willing to listen.
Thank you to National Geographic and CETI (Cetacean Translation Initiative) for trusting Change Content and our partner, Group Thrpy to help share this groundbreaking AI-based research into whale communication.

Five years ago today, our democracy was attacked at the U.S. Capitol.
We were deeply honored to help tell the stories of six people who endured that day—true Americans who care profoundly about their city, their home, and their country. These are people who serve our democracy every single day simply by showing up to work.
On January 6th, they experienced fear, pain, and suffering. Yet despite all of it, they continue to serve. They continue to believe. They continue to protect the democratic ideals that define this country.
Today, we remember them—not as symbols, but as human beings.

Last night, The Sixth won the Emmy for Outstanding Politics and Government Documentary.
This film was almost never seen—too urgent, too uncomfortable for some. But thanks to our courageous subjects and relentless team, it found its voice. And that voice has now been honored.
