We're honored to announce our reissue of Philip Glass' first album, MUSIC WITH CHANGING PARTS, originally released in 1971 on the composer's own Chatham Square label. One can already hear much of Glass' vocabulary in full bloom: the buoyant arpeggios, the elongated drones of human voice and the ecstatic potential inherent in repetition. The album provides an important reminder that from early on Minimalism didn't necessarily mean quiet or tranquil.
