CONFESSIONS opened last week at  @harlesdenhighstreet

Confessions is an installation and participatory work by @electrasimon, exploring what happens when something held inside is witnessed by another.

Inspired by its neighboring businesses and featuring hand designed fabrics and vintage lace, the structure takes the form of a side-by-side confession booth, set within a street-facing gallery, removed from its original context. While framed as a confession, the invitation is open-ended: to share a memory, a story, a feeling, or to sit in silence. An immediate-response monotype drawing is made during each session, which lasts around one hour.

Sessions are by appointment, with walk-ins welcome when available. For more information and to book, see the link in bio.

FW26 Presentation is a Performance Art piece… part social commentary and part fiction. A story about NYC’s first female serial killer, Amanda Gates. We enter into her world in 1994 in a NYC midtown hotel room. She had stalked a serial sexual predator and abuser who had escaped the law,he thought he was hiring a prostitute…little did he know .Was she a vigilante or a psychopath?

In a liminal space between past and future, a woman at her vanity, not a mirror, but a portal. She moves with quiet precision, adorned in relics of old-world wealth, as humanoid AI attendants glide around her, performing domestic rituals with eerie grace. The air crackles with fragmented radio signals, a fading echo of a world that once was. She is alone, yet content. Is this solitude by design or consequence? A meditation on beauty, aging, and the isolation technology affords - a dystopian fantasy - at once a warning and a dream.
