I had an amazing time photographing @jeffgoldblum for @wsj 🗡️
Jeff’s energy was inquisitive and relentless. We explored the house like we were spending the night at a museum. Lots of laughs and joy. Thanks for a great experience and for a stellar crew.

I’m so happy to announce that my project, To Skip A Sinking Stone, has been shortlisted for the @phmuseum 2026 Photo Grant. I’ve been working on this project since 2023 and have been pretty tightlipped on it. It feels amazing to finally share a small portion of this project, but later this summer I’ll have a lot more to share.
Check the link in bio for more info and images from the project. Available to pre-order at @deadbeatclub

Back in February, I spent a stormy afternoon in Oakland with Will Wright, the creator of The Sims, for @nymag
Will was so accommodating with no reservations about where or what we photographed in his home. He had a ton of original Star Wars miniatures from the original trilogy, a whole piece of uranium, and the console of the first USSR spacecraft. Throughout the house, there were Twin Peaks memorabilia. He was a huge David Lynch fan and shared a birthday with him. I asked early in the shoot if it were ok for us to photograph him smoking at his desk and in other parts of his home. At the end of our time together, he told me, “I’ve never been photographed smoking before. You made me feel like David Lynch.”

Last summer, @atlasnyc asked me to make images for their inaugural zine around the theme, “World Within a World”. My gut instinct was to go somewhere and create a small body of work from it, but Alana was recovering from a surgery (she’s fine, thankfully). I decided to challenge myself and make work around our new, unexpected home while I played nurse. Here’s a few images and a text excerpt from the zine.
“I spent the summer at home. Home has been a fleeting idea for the past year as the LA fires caused us to be a domino. We had to move in a bit of a rush, but we found a treehouse that gave us solace. With everything that has been going on personally, politically, and otherworldly, reprieve was needed. And while I’ve always loved being home, working from home felt like a betrayal of what home was supposed to be: rest, recovery, reflection.
Sometimes making work is a form of reflection and sometimes that reflection isn’t through a mirror, but with a lens. I decided to point that lens into the micro world that is my home. Microcosms all around our home acting independently and in harmony. Our long and skinny kitchen became a country, our garden became a continent. Observing the quiet moments that get left behind when I’m hustling to work at all hours. Suddenly, home became a rich place to work from. Details in full microscopic precision filled with textures and subtle feelings. Watching as the light changes from the foggy morning through the harsh afternoon sun to the cool, calm twinkle of twilight. Seeing the garden grow everyday with the utmost attention as if I’m watching a play unfold. It grew and I grew.”
