@anthr0morph, @garanceasti, @kildi_drasa, @isabellafuernkaes, @_kimcamille_, @tabata.von.der.locht, @dhyantrx.t.o. & @eviroumani
I am delighted to present the group exhibition APPEARANCES OF THE INTERSTICE @misc.athens as part of the @athensphotofestival_official, opening 11 June, 6 pm.
“My brain gets creamy with associative thought.” (I love Dick, Chris Kraus)
When something passes through an interstice, it mostly happens quickly, vaguely. A hint of something, an aftertaste. A passing plane, a hint of perfume from somebody walking past. Between birth and death, we think of life as an interstice. Arriving. Or returning.
anthr0morph, Garance Bossion, Kildi Drasa, Kim-Camille Kreuz, Isabella Séville Fürnkäs, Tara Olsen, Tabata von der Locht and Evi Roumani all investigate liminal spaces between disciplines, forms, and meanings, engaging with the fleeting, transitory, and porous. The spectator’s gaze is redirected: towards the gaps in a fence, the cracks in a ceiling, the gap in one’s teeth.
APPEARANCES OF THE INTERSTICE explores the “interstice” as a productive condition of perception through which relational meaning appears. Presenting interdisciplinary photographic work that materializes gaps, captures moments of suspension, and reveals fleeting glimpses, this group exhibition emphasizes the “interstice” as both a connecting and separating force.

On April 19th, 2026, we had the chance to welcome Nancy Papathanasiou and Filippos Paganis from Orlando LGBT+ Mental Health Without Stigma. @nancy.papathanasiou @filippos.paganis @orlandolgbt.gr Together with anthr0morph @anthr0morph they opened a vibrant and generous conversation that unfolded for more than two hours in the framework of the exhibition “Living Archive of Transition”. It was fluid, organic, deeply embodied, heartwarming and unmistakably political. A space where stories, experiences and reflections moved
freely, creating moments of connection and collective presence. We feel grateful that “Living Archive of Transition,” in such a short span of time, has built alliances, nurture ephemeral safe spaces, and a spark pockets of imagination. See some of these moments in the images @masmanidialexandra

A solo exhibition by anthrOmorph curated by the artistic director Vassilis Zidianakis, engages anthrOmorph’s living archive of gender transition, foregrounding methodologies of care and artistic practices that articulate transition as a condition, one that unfolds across human and more-than-human relations. The exhibition proposes an expanded understanding of transition: thinking within, through and beyond gender, while addressing questions of ecology, interspecies entanglement and cohabitation in a toxic environment. The exhibition is only open during the dense Public Programme curated by Eleni Riga.

The moment after enclosing.
anatomies foreign with no language yet formed, for the abilities they unlock.
An instinct drives the larva to climb,
memories still remain in the pupa as the cells melt to rearrange. A pull to exit and dry, as natural as a plant growing towards its sun. No language yet formed.
Parallels between gender transition and insect metamorphosis. Naturalising and unifying the schism of old and new selves.
Drying next to shed outlines of past bodies I inhabited. I am as natural as the cicadas that spend 17 years as worms before they even have the chance to sing.
This performance has significant embodied meaning for me. Marking my 6th month anniversary since my most severe gender surgery yet. Thankful to the non humans that have metamorphosed before me,guiding me through this.
So grateful to Choreographer & Movement Consultant: Marianna Kavallieratos @kavallieratosmarianna for being my eyes, training and guiding me to be able to communicate this.

ATOPOS cvc is pleased to invite you to the opening of Living Archive of Transition, a solo exhibition by anthr0morph, curated by the artistic director Vassilis Zidianakis, on Sunday 1 March 2026, 18:00–22:00, at its new exhibition space in Piraeus (41A Polydefkous St.).
Τhe opening will feature the performance Post-Ecdysis by anthr0morph at 19:00 (duration: 20’).
The exhibition runs through 30 April 2026 and is accessible by reservation during public events.
Living Archive of Transition engages anthr0morph’s living archive of gender transition, foregrounding methodologies of care and artistic practices that articulate transition as a condition, one that unfolds across human and more-than-human relations.
The exhibition proposes an expanded understanding of transition: thinking within, through and beyond gender, while addressing questions of ecology, interspecies entanglement and cohabitation in a toxic environment.
Artists: anthr0morph
Exhibition Curator: Vassilis Zidianakis
Public Program Curator: Eleni Riga
Choreographer & Movement Consultant: Marianna Kavallieratos – (Post-Ecdysis Performance)

Assigned male at birth.
They would gather from all over Greece to perform the rites.
Castration for divine femininity.
Emancipation to allow priestess-hood.
A willing blood letting,
overriding all survival instincts,
Puncture of the membrane
A lifelong oath to the moon.
Patriarchal monotheism tried to hide it
But we have inverted the external for millennia.
The countless who came before me
Those who bled by choice,
Who made temples of their flesh
To honor the divine they knew they were.
I follow not in pain, but in power.
I shed my blood,
may it fertilizes the thirsty grounds
Like the sacrifice of Attis.
let almond trees grow from my loss,
for water nymphs to come out and feed.
This temple was made to commemorate the quantum self.
The states of embodiment I’ve had throughout my metamorphosis,
reflect how every molting included nostalgia of the previous form.
Yet every time I entered chrysalis again
with anticipation of the next enclosing.
I can see now that no state is better than the other,
Each embodiment, beauty and ability. Bodies are Granted to be explored, and for you to negotiate.
A temple for past and future selves, a reminder that thought the vector of time,
Presents crystallize in infinity.
Shapes are temporal but their shape will exist forever like the light flashes that burn into your eyes when you close them.
Temporal embodiments, finite and infinite.
So I embody the present with the most absolute love and presence I am allowed to give it.
For it is a flickering wave, as easily changed as it is vanished.
And how I will miss the abilities this body gave me, but how I yearn to also grow flowers from my stems.
As I prepare to bleed, offerings are welcomed.Through much labour and courage I go towards the altar to be cut.
The help of not carrying the financial burden of this need is received with the most gratitude. Aiding me to be able to take time off to heal correctly and with no sacrifices,
I will honor through all my cellular being. Cortisol levels reduced, calmness and collagen to turn into scar tissues into emblems.

Ancestral dreams. Primordial past and conceivable future. What does the perfect male body look like?
Since before starting to work with silicone making skin statues was my dream. Before that I wanted to be a genetic engineer so I can make me a dragon. Mutating the form was always my focus. Due to budget constraints masks ended up being a more realistic goal, but had to much fun making this really hope I get to build up the anthro army so you can all understand the vision in its totality.
ΝεοKouros 1 will be at Shapeshift spaceship @meetfactory in Prague until end of September
Thank you @simonkadlcak for the beautiful curation

Due to budget constraints masks ended up being a more realistic goal, but had to much fun making this really hope I get to build up the anthro army so you can all understand the vision in its totality.
ΝεοKouros 1 will be at Shapeshift spaceship @meetfactory in Prague until end of September

The last 2 years I have been very silent. Since my FFS a mitosis had happened. Many might saw it as a downgrade, because I chose to abandon Anthromorph and focus on my human self. Going through all the awkward femininity puberty stages in front of people that had already finished theirs. Struggling with addιctions and sobering up. Oversexualizing myself to rewrite my self perception of being an undesirable monster.
This place was a placeholder, a safety boat of identity for when my sense of self was non existent. My masculine body had died and hyphae were mutating in front the eyes of the other. New growth sprout out, giving me horns and uncanny body shapes. The decomposition had come to fruit. 3 years in i was able to shed the face that was chaining me thanks to you all.
Is the fact I chose to burn the lore I created a mistake? Did I ruin eveything I built by revealing Constantine? Possibly. Been seen as a girl made my wisdom seem less significant. But I had to learn what having a body feels like. I was born to be a human. To Transcend the human you first need to learn what a human is. Maybe what I was channeling was my higher self. A self in a far future. I cannot reach them until I have matured and integrated. I could not run away from my mortal truth. I was envious.
I chose to be a silly girl because for years my inner child was starved. I regressed so I can progress. Now the turbulence has subsided. I am floating in the open calm waters. Plankton dance around me entertaining me with their lights. Looks like I’m floating in stars. The galaxy slices the sky above me. I belong in the milky ways hug. I am an earthling, morph category of the anthropos.

Anonstories oferuje doskonałe rozwiązanie do ukrywania swojej tożsamości.
