Excited to share our new collaboration with @folkclothing will be launching next week - Wednesday 29th at Folk on Eastcastle street in Soho. This is the third time over the last ten years @philgoss1 and I have worked with @cathal_folk and the team making drawings, watercolours and paintings that are developed by their designers and turned into garments.
We will be having a party 6-8pm at 14 Eastcastle street showing the artwork and clothes. Please drop by for a glass of @noblerotsoho if you are in London.

Looking forward to showing these new paintings and works on paper @joshlilleygallery at the end of this month. The works come from numerous trips visiting the eponymous Island in the Thames near Twickenham where the legendary Eel Pie Island Hotel was situated. It hosted the likes of Bowie, The Stones and The Who until it burnt down in 1972. Many thanks to @juliette_losq for showing me around the island.
Eel Pie Hotel opens April 23rd 6-8pm.

'When Molly and Richard came to the studio to look at works for their Frank Walter exhibition they were instantly drawn to a work on paper I had just finished of a cruise ship sitting in the water dwarfing three swans. I made this picture after going on a walk down the Thames (near where we live in Greenwich) and seeing the incongruous sight of a truly colossal square cruise ship squatting in the water. There was something wonderfully absurd seeing this enormous ship docked so close to home - almost a feeling of megalophobia that I wanted to capture in the drawing.'
