Art Month @stacktmarket continues this week so still a few days left to see Motho (up until Oct 19) as well as outstanding installations by @metal_in_nature @thadeadecora and much more! Huge thanks again to Stackt and curator @jordanstclaire for the opportunity and to my amazing collaborators @a.melv and @marko.is.swimming whose projected animations were mapped onto Motho’s wings for the duration of @nuitblancheto 🙏 Also huge thanks to all the friends who came through that night with presents and good vibes, it was a whirlwind 12 hours but you all kept us going with your energy and thoughtful care packages! ❤️🔥
Moths evolved much earlier than their relatives the butterflies, co-evolving with flowering plants. Some moth fossils are estimated at 190 million years old, while the oldest butterfly fossils date back just 56 million years. There are around 160,000 species of moth and around 17,500 species of butterfly. Both have larvae that hatch out of eggs as caterpillars and pupate by making cocoons, out of which they crawl as adults that fly on scaled wings. Both are important pollinators of flowering plants, often visiting species that bees do not. In general, the antennae are a good way to tell them apart - butterfly antennae are thin with a small ball at the end while moth antennae are feathery and taper to a point. Also most moths fold their wings flat against the body while butterflies will fold them upright.
Unlike butterflies, many moths are nocturnal. These evolved to keep the brightest source of light (the moon) at their backs to help navigate while flying, which is why any bright outdoor light will often have moths flying around it - they are trying to correct their orientation but end up spiralling toward the lights. This can tire them out and hinder their mission of finding a mate, even causing them to skip meals in confusion. They find mates by sensing chemical cues in the environment using their antennae - a male moth can “smell” a female over several km. Many moths do not even have mouths because once hatched as adults they do not eat - their only purpose is mating.

Sonic Springs recap! ✨🌞🌈🎨🎵
We wanted to share a story highlighting the magic of Sonic Springs energy. Saturday night everything is perfectly setup in the Pixel Bath and Tea Haus is ready for the evening at hand. At around 9:45 we hear over the main speakers that a storm is coming. “90 km/h winds incoming, a tornado warning (we heard later), and to take cover in your cars. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST”
So we had a choice, abandon ship risking all of Amanita Haus stock and the Pixel Bath equipment or we hunker down with the storm. We decided to hunker down in the Pixel Bath as we feared for our stock and equipment. Frantically like rabid raccoons we grabbed all the stock we could (namely the new clothes just arrived for this fest) and put it in the Pixel Bath tent, awaiting the storm. As the rain started falling a river started to run through our tent (because Alex forgot the back tarp 😅). We cleared a way through and took shelter on our island of an almost dry mattress. As the storm seemed to wane so did our anxiety. It seemed we were in the clear. About an hour and a half later we got the go ahead to start the festival again. We continued to have a magical night encapsulated by one of the best sunrises we’ve ever seen. We later learned the storm literally split in two around Fishers’ Paradise, probably saving the festival entirely, and we have been saying the energy of the Sonic Springs community must have warded off the worst of it.
Needless to say we had an incredible time, with the storm making it even more magical as we came back together with renewed sense of gratefulness and connectivity.
Shout out to all that were involved in this magical festival!

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
