Incandescent B2B Khandroma

Incandescent is a Toronto based artist whose sound design heavy productions are pushing the boundaries of bass music. His sound is defined by intricate sound design, low frequency pressure and the blending of live instrumentation with electronic sounds, making for a unique signature that shines through regardless of genre or bpm.From atmospheric dubstep to sub heavy drum and bass, his productions are not limited to a single genre. Releasing on labels such as Street Ritual, Lush Loungeand Abysmal Entities, his productions have received international support. Having played alongside a wide variety of festivals such as Future Forest, Bloom and 40Hz Stacks, he has experience catering DJ sets to different crowds.

Khandroma is a producer, DJ, and curator rooted in deep bass and community-driven sound. Since starting to DJ in 2018 and producing music in late 2020, their work has been released on labels such as Bhump Records, Widdfam, Abysmal Entities, Nu Kvlture, Audio Entropy / Drum Pusher, and Nahual Records. Their music has resonated across festival stages including Future Forest, Stacks on the Beach, and Northern Vibe, and they’ve shared the stage with artists like Goopsteppa, Calyx & Teebee, Wraz, Substance, and SBK.

Off-stage, Khandroma has supported Lush Lounge Records since 2020—helping source and sign artists for releases like the Variations compilation and Surreal’s EP. They are also the founder of Smol but Mighty Sound, a sound system and record label dedicated to powerful low-end and intimate vibes. For this BASS NODE edition, they’ll be bringing out 20” woofers from @smol.but.mighty.sound for additional BASS—linked into the house system for maximum impact.

They come together April 4th for a very special b2b just for Bass Node!

laceprint is the production alias of Toronto-based musician Benjamin Cashmore. His sets weave experimental and bass-heavy productions from neuro-hop to deep dubstep. Percussive driving rhythms with a focus on digestible groove make the bed of his sound.

Kiki G has been a dynamic force in the underground music scene for almost a decade. Celebrated for her electrifying performances, she crafts a unique sound that merges rapid, hard-hitting beats with deep, atmospheric undertones, often pushing the limits of deep, dark music. Her sets have lit up festivals like Stacks and events such as Promise, as well as legendary venues like Round Venue and Wiggle Room. With a keen ability to connect with the audience, Kiki G consistently leaves crowds energized and eager for more.

Kyla D’s love of bass started young…as she remembers moments as a child curled up to the speakers in the basement. Her love for the deep low end vibrations found in dubstep is what she finds most healing to her spirit. As a new Dj, Kyla D is beyond thrilled to share her heavy and sexy dubstep selections you!

Since first stepping behind the decks a few years ago, Jenneva has been on a relentless pursuit of the perfect rhythm. What began as a curiosity quickly evolved into a deep-seated passion for the intricate architecture of Hypnotic Techno. Drawn to the genre’s unique percussion and mind-bending soundscapes, Jenn brings together sets that are more than just a sequence of tracks—they are a journey. By layering complex drumming and atmospheric textures, she aims to transport the dancefloor to a collective headspace where thoughts fade, the ego dissolves, and the only thing remaining is the rhythm of the music.

Astrolope & cellsync

Astrolope is a limitless exploration of Paul Geldart’s musical imagination. His music explores themes of imagining a better future, feeling like an outsider to humanity, or otherwise immersing the listener in some indescribable vibe. For the workshop portion of the night, Astrolope will be performing an ambient modular set—patching his hardware synthesizer live in an exploratory improvisational context, offering a physical contrast to the software that anchors the evening. Inspired by video game soundtracks, psychedelic music, and countless sub-genres of electronica, Astrolope’s music is a big colorful mess.

cellsync is the musical project of Toronto based new media artist Alison Clark. Inspired by the unique perspective of machines and of realities isolated within sensor data, Alison creates tracks which reshape the sounds around her into new alien forms.

Together they are coming together to treat us to two glorious hours of collaborative ambience while we learn some touchdesigner*

WinDB

WinDB is the alter ego of Win. (@winsoundz) Originally from the East Coast, Win landed in Toronto in 2013 and immersed herself in the Toronto music scene. 8 years ago she began her journey as a DJ, and has played many underground parties and festivals since then. She is the founder of Nomada Project (@nomada.project), and co-founder of Bloom Festival (@bloomfestto), a community music and arts festival. WinDB takes dancers on a trip through the dark drum and bass realm and beyond.
