Some new DP work for a commercial spot we shot all the way out in Vancouver!

This was such an unreal experience being able to shoot something all the way out in BC! I couldn't be more grateful for the people that were part of this crazy project! We went through so many hurdles together, but we always made the most out of our endeavours. From non-stop snowfalls to rocky hikes, it was full send mode as @justinmanabat put it 😂 but we'll get our redemption!

Lately, I’ve been really hooked on golf. There’s something about the nuances of golf and just hitting a pure shot that keeps bringing me back. I was fortunate enough to get my hands on the Canon K35 lenses and I wanted to try and capture a bit of that feeling.

I didn't get to film as much as I hoped since it was pouring rain right before we tee'd off, but I still managed to grab some pretty cool shots!

Thinking about doing a proper spec piece around golf soon, but for now here’s a little test run.

Stick around till the end for a moment that made the whole round worth it 👀

New Cinematography work!

This experience was not for the faint of heart. This was 3 days and 4 nights straight of being in an RV, up at random times of the day with one goal: document whatever we can, while still prioritizing shot composition.
As much as we would have like to rock a nice camera package, sometimes you just gotta keep things nimble. We were fortunate enough to use a set of Nikon Vintage lenses that were super light, but still produced a really nice image on the FX3 and FX9! This allowed us to do some unique rigging shots with just a single suction cup on the FX3 and be really nimble when going handheld on the FX9, without running into fatigue.
So grateful for the opportunity to document such a supportive group of people and even more grateful to them for buying me a 52 wedge just so I can hit some golf balls <3

New DP work on a Spec Ad for @on!

Grateful to have this opportunity to collaborate with @topb0y! We wanted to explore some unique angles of some tennis play with the use of a plexiglass platform. I think the biggest challenge with this was actually sourcing the plexiglass material itself but once we got over that hump, we were able to build out a 4x5 platform that gave us enough room to get some wide shots of the action.
Another a concept I wanted to explore was using Titan Tubes to create a fun lighting gag. I was inspired by A24's Everything, Everywhere, All At Once and how they used this triangle-shaped rig to create this spiral lighting effect and wanted to incorporate that into this piece!
BIG shoutout to @zacharyjguy for building out the plexiglass platform and the "Tri-Force" rig. ❤️
