a small blip of personal happiness in such a dark time

if you know me, you know how long i’ve tried to gain the confidence to do this - they asked me when i was 19!

my younger self can breathe finally, i have made the 909th @resident_advisor mix and i hope it does the tunes themselves justice - it was made in one take with music that feels new

the link is in my bio ❤️

i dont typically produce mixes, but i'm excited to share that I've taken on three that will roll out in the next few months, starting with one for @fieldmaneuvers x @untitled909

i've written a little bit about the concept behind it, but ultimately, it's a collection of big tunes designed for a big dancefloor

link in the bio and see you at the festival in a few weeks alongside @batu_timedance :)

Tonight is the night - Ben UFO + Bake at Sensu. ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Given their friendship and rich history of playing together, we asked Bake to provide some tracks that helped build their bond over the years.

Over to you Bake 🎤 🎤🎤🎤

“i’ve picked 5 tracks that Ben has played over the years that were pretty formative for me, alongside a couple that we’ve both bonded over / always seem to come back to”

Slide 1
VC-118a - Deploy

Not messing around with the tempo this week, starting fast - 128bpm, 6th august 2015. Very funny that 128bpm is fast considering tempos now, but at the time it really did feel like that, a kind of push straight away.

I have this memory of Ben referring to these kinds of tunes as “humid”, i’ve always loved that.

Slide 2
Smyglyssna - insvept e paper

Originally released in 1997 via US imprint plug research - home to kim rapatti’s mood ep, which should tell you everything you need to know - this is another one from a 2015 rinse show from Ben which, looking back, seems like a formative era for me, for many reasons, with one being that he was the only person playing these kinds of tunes.

Slide 3
Badmarsh & Shri - Signs (Calibre Remix)

We recently talked about this and agreed that it’s such a good song. One of calibre’s best. Not much more to add really.

Slide 4
DJ Narciso - Cachê

DJ Narciso has been on a tear on bandcamp for the last few years and imo makes some of the strongest tracks in that whole portugal / batida world. We both agree this is his best.

Slide 5
Ben UFO, Factory, Club Circus, Osaka (DJ mix) (58mins 45secs)

Ending this back at 2015, but referencing the full mix because looking back over the past 15 years of dj mixes and Ben’s contribution to them, i think this one is up there as one of the best. Maybe also one of the first where a mix from our world started to spread virally, relative to its era.

An incredible mix, with every track accounted for except this one. The lore is that it was going to come out on all caps - a label i once ran - but, for many reasons, never did. I sent it to Ben and he played it out a lot at the time.

This kind of track is 100% up our street - see if you can figure out who made it :)

grateful for everyone who came down last friday and for one of my oldest and best friendships @batu_timedance

such a wide remit of music with a slow ascent in pace - from loading music ambient all the way to 140 - it felt so natural, a miracle.. one of the most satisfying spirits to date

we also managed to get a legendary @logtoad snap :)

i’ve got a good idea of the next steps ahead and i’ll see you there come 2026 :)

much love,
bake ❤️

11 editions later and i’m once again joined by my brother omar, but this time, we’re celebrating something special

you might know him as @batu_timedance - the kind of dj who plays with swiftness, deadly, wasting no moves. i know him as a kind, generous, and supportive friend of over 15 years - the kind of person you want in your corner

his label, timedance, has been operating for 10 years now - an achievement more complex than its title or number - and has grown into something none of us could have imagined

this is an important evening, and i’m excited to be able to share it with you - please consider joining us <3

i am lucky enough to call this group of people my friends, and here is a photo to mark my appreciation

the last @adancecalledspirit was super stylish and unlike any other, i think - a big but not Big Tune approach, until i broke the fast by playing that massive Pev tune on the recent Tectonic compilation. thank you for coming over @kiasvs @djfartintheclub 🫂

looking back, it was a special time to be in that booth - surrounded by the resonance of a special person, and gratitude for everyone in that room, from staff to dancer hold on to what you can ❤️

see you again on the 7th of november 🔊

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
