For his first full-length solo album, "Honora"—which takes its name from a beloved family member—Flea composed and arranged the music, and also plays trumpet and bass throughout, joined by an elite crew of modern jazz visionaries: album producer and saxophonist @joshuaajohn, guitarist @JeffParkersounds, bassist Anna Butterss @Buttersscup, and drummer @DeantoniParks. The record features vocals from Flea, as well as friends @ThomYorke and @NickCaveofficial. @MauroRefosco and @NateWalcott, among others, also join the band. "Honora" comprises six original songs, plus interpretations of tunes by George Clinton and Eddie Hazel, Jimmy Webb, Frank Ocean and Shea Taylor, and Ann Ronell.

And she was right. It turns out, the rainbow ends at @BakeryMastering, and that @Eric.TheBaker, @JimiJaymes, @PHDutton, and @Weel_o, really can help the dreams that we dare to dream come true. This one started when a conversation between @DaliColorado and @UliBella turned despair into an idea for action, and it continued when people like @MichaelLizarraga, @LaloAlcaraz1, @JimColemannyc, @AdventurousAshley and many others stepped in to help make the dream a reality. This is a dream of America made great by the diversity of its people. People who’ve immigrated here from all over the world to make us culturally and economically strong. This is a dream of artists supporting that vision in the face of divisiveness used to gain power. We won’t let this destruction happen. We believe in love over fear. We stand #ContraICE.
