Today we’re announcing $34 million in new grants toward sustainable fashion – this funding will go to teams of scientists and researchers across the United States who are re-inventing the fabrics that clothes are made of by developing next-generation materials that look and feel like today’s rayon, silk, and cotton.

We believe in the power of “and” over “or” and the work these teams are doing has the potential to make sustainable clothing choices easy, widely available, and ultimately better for the planet.

Thank you to the teams at @columbia, @fitnyc, @ncottoncouncil, @clemsonuniversity, and @ucberkeleyofficial who are spearheading this amazing science. We’re so excited to work together!

Today is National Gardening Day, and we’re celebrating the power of gardens and green spaces.

In fact, the @bezosearthfund through its Greening America Cities program, helped create green spaces in cities across the U.S., including in Los Angeles with the @elaccorg and a local organization, Campos de Cultivo, in Boyle Heights.

From a gated and abandoned lot into a green gathering space flourishing with food, flowers, and community, we’re proud to highlight this incredible new “green” space today, and every day.

Did you know today was National Gopher Tortoise Day? At @NFWF and the @BezosEarthFund we're working to save this species so they can continue to thrive in the wild.

Gopher Tortoises are considered heroes in the Southeast United States - they support more than 350 other animals like owls, snakes, foxes, toads, skunks and lizards that rely on their burrows for shelter from heat, fire and predators.

We're helping raise hatchlings in protected conditions until they're big enough to survive on their own, and then releasing them back into the wild. This approach along with protecting and restoring the ecosystem where they live is an important step in ensuring these great animals survive and flourish. #gophertortoiseday

Today, on what would have been Dr. Jane Goodall’s 92nd birthday, we’re celebrating her life and the incredible impact she made on how we treat, approach and respect animals and nature.

Here at the @bezosearthfund, we’ll continue to be inspired by, and take forward the spirit of her work through our conservation and restoration efforts all around the world, including with our partner the @janegoodallinst in the Congo Basin.

Happy birthday, Jane! May you continue to watch over the many animals you loved and worked so hard to protect. 💚

This Earth Month, we’re celebrating the diversity of life that makes our planet so incredible and the best in the solar system.

To maintain its beauty, we must protect it – that’s why the @bezosearthfund is committed to protecting 30% of the land and ocean by 2030 (30x30). Through our support, we’ll help to safeguard habitats that are essential to preserving life in all its forms.

From the ancient, almost otherworldly hoatzin in the Amazon Rainforest, to the elusive bongo antelope of the Congo Basin. Each of these species depends on ecosystems that are rapidly disappearing.

Protect the places. Protect the species. Protect our future. #WildHope

Did you ever think it’d be possible to count individual trees from space? The @BezosEarthFund supported @worldresources to make that possible together with @Meta. ⁣

By harnessing innovations in AI and satellite data, we can monitor forest restoration with unprecedented accuracy at a fraction of the cost and time. A process that used to take over a year now takes three days. ⁣

That means less time and money spent measuring impact, and more money going to the people restoring forests, protecting water, supporting biodiversity, and strengthening communities. ⁣

Innovation leads to better data, greater trust, and more restoration. ⁣

The @bezosearthfund is working with partners to protect the Congo Basin, the heart and lungs of Africa, which is home to numerous endangered species, including the elusive and solitary okapi.

Okapi populations are in decline due to habitat loss and poaching. The only place on Earth where they live in the wild is northeastern Democratic Republic of Congo, primarily in the Ituri Rainforest.

Protecting places like the Congo Basin means protecting some of the world’s most vulnerable species — and ensuring a healthy planet for all.

Frogs are in trouble, and that matters to us all. When species disappear, ecosystems start to unravel.

That’s why this #WorldFrogDay, we’re celebrating hope. With support from the @BezosEarthFund, partners in the Tropical Amphibian Resilience Initiative (TARI) are breeding threatened amphibians under human care and helping return them to the wild, including the critically endangered Panamanian golden frog.

So far, TARI partners have released 4,500 amphibians from eight species back into habitats across Latin America. Every release helps us learn more about how to bring these animals back and keep ecosystems healthy.

TARI is a collaboration between @amphibianrescue @amphibiansurvivalalliance @centrojambatu @parqueexplora @proyecto_rana_arlequin @smithsonianzoo and @smithsonianpanama.

One small hop for a frog, one giant leap for frogkind 🐸

The Panamanian golden frog disappeared from the wild in the 2000s, but researchers just hit a major milestone in bringing it back.

The Panama Amphibian Research and Conservation project, a joint effort between the Smithsonian's National Zoo, Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and Zoo New England, has been caring for a protected population in Gamboa, Panama.

In late 2025, the team began the first release trial, returning frogs to the wild and tracking how they did.

"This is the first phase of understanding how to rewild these frog species including disease dynamics, post-release monitoring and how these animals restore their natural anti-predator skin defenses." said Brian Gratwicke, a conservation biologist at the National Zoo.

"Our work here is based on three previous harlequin frog release trials and will help us to gather the data needed to restore wild populations of these amazing animals. We are also incredibly grateful to the Panamanian government's SENACYT grants program and Miambiente, as well as the Bezos Earth Fund for supporting this work."

This research is part of the Tropical Amphibian Research Initiative (TARI), a collaboration between the @amphibianrescue, @amphibiansurvivalalliance, @centrojambatu, @parqueexplora, Proyecto Rana Arlequin, Smithsonian's National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute and @smithsonianpanama. TARI is made possible by the support of the Bezos Earth Fund

If you’re restoring forests, the question isn’t just: “Did trees get planted?” ⁣

It’s also: “Are they growing into healthy forests?” That is what canopy height can help tell you.⁣

Today, @landcarbonland is sharing Version 2 of Global Tree Canopy Height, the 1-meter resolution global map that can detect individual trees, now upgraded for significantly better performance in tall and complex forests.⁣

Accuracy improved by about 60% in independent validation (R² 0.53 → 0.86), which sharpens how this data supports:⁣
🌿 restoration progress tracking over time⁣
🌿 carbon storage and removal estimates grounded in forest structure⁣
🌿 biodiversity monitoring that depends on habitat complexity⁣

Built with AI at Meta using the open-source DINOv3 model, supported by the @BezosEarthFund, and openly available on AWS and Google Earth Engine.⁣

Far below the surface, deep sea corals thrive in total darkness—growing for centuries and creating vital habitat for marine life.

Though unseen, these ecosystems strengthen ocean resilience and support biodiversity.

The @bezosearthfund is helping safeguard these extraordinary places, through our 30x30 commitment to help protect 30% of land and ocean by 2030. Protecting the planet also means protecting what lies beneath the waves.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
