For my girlies who ask my tips for a half decent wing:

🦋 It always helps if your arm, your hand, your finger, has something to steady itself on. I tend to ball myself up, almost like I’m hugging myself so that my arms stay steady and they have somewhere secure to live while my hands are moving and shaking.
🦋 If I’m doing my makeup at a table or counter, I find it helpful to prop my elbows up. I always rest my hand on the cheek of the side that I’m working on. This steadies my hand from any shaking, and keeps it in a limited range of motion so I’m only making small movements that’ll keep me from any crazy brush strokes that would be hard to match.
🦋 Work while making eye contact with yourself in the mirror, looking straight ahead. This is the only way you’ll be able to see your wing without any distortion.
🦋 Start that first brush stroke of the wing going out from the eye, lifting the brush up toward the end. This helps with a more delicate and tapered shape.
🦋 Tiny little Q-tips with remover will revive your wing from almost any mistake.
🦋 I sharpen the ends of my wing with a nail art brush because they are suuuuper skinny.
