I was lucky enough to get into the Academy Gold Rising Program, part of @theacademy ’s early talent development and diversity arm.

By the end of 2025, I was a working producer, collaborating with wonderful creatives at @wearewhimsy, making films with the incredibly talented @owendubeck, and even heading to Brazil for 2 months to produce a narrative feature in my home state. What a full circle and fulfilling moment in my life!

And now, a new phase of my journey starts in 2026 with my first full-time position, learning from the experience and brilliance of @klecool who I’m so lucky to call my mentor and boss.
