· Circe Experimental Platform for Dance and Theatre works on the synthesis of contemporary dance, theatre, and music since 2018 ·
CIRCE Experimental Platform for Dance and Theatre presents a May 2026 event series in Tbilisi dedicated to dance, movement, film, performance, and interdisciplinary artistic practices.
The program brings together local and international artists through film screenings, artist talks, workshops, exhibitions, and immersive movement experiences exploring the relationship between body, landscape, imagination, technology, mythology, and ecology.
Featuring:

• 22-23 May : XOSILITA — short dance films & “Imagine, Feel & Move” workshop

The events are open to everyone, including people without prior dance or performance experience, creating a space for artistic exchange, experimentation, embodiment, and collective imagination.

CIRCE Experimental Platform for Dance and Theatre წარმოგიდგენთ 2026 წლის მაისის ღონისძიებების სერიას თბილისში, რომელიც ეძღვნება ცეკვას, მოძრაობას, ფილმს, პერფორმანსსა და ინტერდისციპლინურ არტისტულ პრაქტიკებს.
პროგრამა აერთიანებს ქართველ და საერთაშორისო არტისტებს ფილმის ჩვენებების, არტისტ თოქების, ვორქშოპების, გამოფენებისა და მოძრაობითი გამოცდილებების ფარგლებში, რომლებიც იკვლევს სხეულის, ლანდშაფტის, წარმოსახვის, ტექნოლოგიის, მითოლოგიისა და ეკოლოგიის ურთიერთკავშირს.
პროგრამაში მონაწილეობენ:

WELCOME TO THE iCoDaCo DIGITAL PLATFORM!
After more than a year of development, the iCoDaCo Digital Platform is now live!
The platform is a pan-European virtual space for the contemporary dance community — supporting collective co-creation, hybrid distribution, and open-access knowledge exchange.
It hosts a growing archive of texts, audio, and video materials, making choreographic knowledge and dance-making practices freely accessible to all. It currently presents artistic outcomes from 15 residency weeks with European collectives, held between November 2024 and March 2026.
Collectives across 11 countries have contributed content and used the platform as a space for dialogue and sharing. Our goal has been to create the first open-access digital platform dedicated to contemporary dance practices in the 21st century.
The platform supports transnational collaboration and exchange, led by @ildance (Sweden) in partnership with Creativity Lab (Latvia) and @circeplatform (Georgia).
Additional collaboration and platform infrastructure were developed with @onspotstory_europe and Museum.Link.

The program brings together local and international artists through film screenings, artist talks, workshops, exhibitions, and immersive movement experiences exploring the relationship between body, landscape, imagination, technology, mythology, and ecology.

About creative imagination for a conscious dialog with the Earth.
Through an interactive talk, the 3 artists of the collective will present how their approach
“dancewithtopos” helped them to connect with the landscape as a source of creative intelligence.
They will share how they could progressively go beyond the rational projection that our civilization developed, to finally enter into a richer perception of reality.
HIDDEN FACE OF A LANDSCAPE
film presents a dancer exploring different landscapes. Place after place, he develops a special way of listening and allows himself to be welcomed by the atmospheres, elements, forces, materials, colors, and lights.
This language of life becomes his partner, and by playing with the roughness of the terrain, the dancer’s body enters into dialogue with the different faces of our Earth.

Movement as bridge between outer landscape and inner landscape
In every landscape, movement is already present.
Sometimes visible, sometimes invisible, all manner of dynamics inhabit a place. The dancer* trains to perceive them, then embraces them within, and finally gives them voice through a sensitive gesture.

The narrative focuses on nature and the “language” of plants as a system of knowledge. .
Maka Kiladze is a multimedia artist and founder of Circe Experimental Platform for dance and theatre. Her work combines visual art, film, performance, and research.
Elene Gviniashvili is an Electrical and Computer Engineering student at the Free University of Tbilisi.sheexplores the intersection between technology, movement, and human connection.
The exhibition and artist talk expand on these ideas through visual materials, technological approaches, and discussions on movement as a universal system.

XOSILITA is a multimedia artist, performer, choreographer, and dancer from Tbilisi, Georgia.
During the film screening and artist talk, two short dance films will be presented:
“She Knows” (2019)
“Daydream” (2021)
The workshop “Imagine, Feel & Move” is an immersive, guided movement experience open to participants from all backgrounds (+16). Through voice-guided practices, participants will explore deep bodily sensations, grounding techniques and work with limitations of body and mind.
No prior dance or performance experience is required.
