Corvus Obscura explores in-between spaces—between shadow and light, earth and elevation, the visible and the inner self. Trapeze, live drawing, and experimental music intertwine in a search for metaphysical harmony. The stage is permeated by real-time projections of black-and-white drawings, offering a renewed perspective somewhere between imagination and phantasmagoria 🌀

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Scottish artist Iona Kewney. A circus artist, dancer and painter, Iona moved across disciplines with freedom and in a very unique way. She was a circusnext laureate 2012–2013 alongside musician Joseph Quimby, as Knights of the Invisible. Their work left a lasting mark on the history of our programme and on all those who discovered her through it. Our thoughts go to her loved ones and colleagues.

C’est avec tristesse que nous apprenons le décès de l’artiste écossaise Iona Kewney. Circassienne, danseuse, peintre, Iona traversait les disciplines avec liberté et singularité. Elle avait été lauréate circusnext 2012–2013 avec le musicien Joseph Quimby, sous le nom de Knights of the Invisible. Leur travail a marqué durablement l’histoire de notre programme et ceux et celles qui l’ont découverte à cette occasion. Nos pensées vont à ses proches et à ses collègues.
