Some important announcements / updates

Newly formed @______ripple crew’s first event last month was a huge success. Thank you to those who came out to hear the @morphsounds subs rattle La30 : ) It was so nice to see so many people getting down to all that dubstep late into the morning… sitting around in a haze after @e.nsix beautiful closing set, it felt like summer. Expect a party from us every few months.

We’re doing a takeover of my 2 hour radio show tomorrow (Thursday) on @n10.as. Tune in to hear us jump over each other in a massive b2b, experience last party’s exclusive dubs (if you were at Ripple and didn’t get a download card, send us a DM), and hear some of what’s in store for the next party.

It's also the n10as funding drive this month - consider donating to support this wonderful, volunteer-run staple of our music scene, and keep it going for many years to come. The link for that is in my bio.

Then, this Friday I am pleased and honored to be playing the first dedicated “sub-bass sound” room 2 at Flush, alongside Ripple homie @wencater , and as part of a stellar lineup both upstairs and downstairs. Not to be missed - they’re bringing in the Morph soundsystem and we are gonna make those subs sing. You can find the ticket link in my bio.

I've been up to something new! This is my first foray into sound installation / non-dancefloor focused sound art. Echo Chamber is now living at la30 until the end of the month.

Using 7 mics and 7 speakers placed strategically around the room, ambient sounds in the space are mutated via various FX chains, transforming la30 into an echo chamber. A strange, delightful, unexpected, and disorienting environment is created by the spectators themselves as they exist in and interact with the room.

You are all invited to check it out, free of charge this weekend during the opening hours listed below.

Saturday December 20th: 4-8pm
Sunday December 21st : 4-8pm

I might do another showing and little performance in the space before the new year, but that remains to be seen.
