5 years of the newsletter! I’ve now migrated from Substack to Ghost.
I also attempted producing more DJ-appropriate content; the result of which can be streamed on Soundcloud (no more Nono on Youtube).
And since platform dictates content and infrastructure shapes behavior, please find attached an extra c̶̶h̶̶a̶̶o̶̶t̶̶i̶̶c̶ ̶d̶̶u̶̶m̶̶p̶ chronologically arranged Q3 update that you didn’t know you needed, most probably because you in fact didn’t.
Happy equinox and fuck fascism xx

Tonight, I’m playing in Marseille, where I recently relocated.
As an homage, I’ve just recorded a radio show with 60 minutes of tracks related to the Phocaean city, which will appear on my SoundCloud soon (“Wait wut?!! Fictions is BACK???”). I have a lot of love for the French scene and it’s been nourishing to settle roots again in one of the countries where I grew up.
Gigging is still very much part of the equation, and I’m enjoying that too (thanks, @useless.seconds, for supporting me with these shows—all of which feel just right!). We’ve started working on a (frankly, quite epic and hypothetical) flight-free tour to Asia and Australia; you can follow its progress in the usual place.
Speaking of the newsletter, in the most recent edition, I wrote about the cost of last year’s North America tour, including thoughts on the gigging economy and insights into my own situation. One of my hopes is that financial transparency can foster solidarity among nightlife workers.
Tomorrow, we’ll be celebrating Fête du Travail. Workers once fought for eight-hour days. With all the content and data we’re increasingly asked to provide, it often feels like our modern labour far exceeds these numbers (featured page: @lizpelly - Mood Machine). I won’t be using this app on May 1st—or for the rest of that month.
I look forward to dancing, marching, and hugging IRL.

@gigstab have the unsettling habit of making everything work. Genres that shouldn’t coexist do, tempos slip without warning, and basslines arrive exactly when your internal compass has already given up. Widely described as the DJs’ favorite DJ, their selections remain stubbornly playful, precise, and allergic to formulas.
Their 2024 Freerotation set sums it up neatly: fantasy-grade atmospherics dissolving into dancing mania, freakish jazz and pop samples smuggled in for mischief, and a glitched palette from around the world folded into an unbridled bass logic that refuses to sit still, slipping between half-time drag, D’n’B pressure, acid-licked steppers and dubwise afterglow.
Since 2019, they have declined air travel in favour of trains, boats and time itself, including a transatlantic sailboat crossing followed by a public-transport-only tour of North America. Offline by design and largely faceless online, they channel their surplus energy into research-heavy radio shows, self-run parties, listening retreats and a quietly devoted newsletter chronicling scenes, books and slow movement.

@gigstab have the unsettling habit of making everything work. Genres that shouldn’t coexist do, tempos slip without warning, and basslines arrive exactly when your internal compass has already given up. WE are doing this.
Years of trying and tumbling to sail nono across the pond… and I may still fall short in acknowledging all the ways so many beings, communities, and conditions contributed to the realization of this North American tour.
Thank you, thank you
- All the promoters below—and those with whom it didn’t quite work out,
- Eilidh, Ugo, all the loved ones, and my comrades at @staygroundednet,
- All the dancers, listeners, readers, and peers for their soulful participation,
- The sailing crew who navigated us against nearly every possible odd,
- Strangers, pals of pals, new friends, and all the souls encountered who are helping, hosting, supporting, and perpetually inspiring me,
- The peaceful pilgrims who journeyed before me, and those who will come after,
- Music.
Climate justice is social justice, land justice, mobility justice, and border justice. Abolish ICE. Abolish Frontex. Protect the people. Protect the land. Power to everyone, everywhere, who is fighting violent border systems.

Climate justice is social justice, land justice, mobility justice, and border justice. Abolish ICE. Abolish Frontex. Protect the people. Protect the land. Power to everyone, everywhere, who is fighting violent border systems.

PS: sorry i made a mistake on the poster, it's MONTREAL on the 4th and TORONTO on the 5th... Can u tell i haven't slept in weeks?!

WE are doing this.
Years of trying and tumbling to sail nono across the pond… and I may still fall short in acknowledging all the ways so many beings, communities, and conditions contributed to the realization of this North American tour.
Thank you, thank you
- All the promoters below—and those with whom it didn’t quite work out,
- Eilidh, Ugo, all the loved ones, and my comrades at @staygroundednet,
- All the dancers, listeners, readers, and peers for their soulful participation,
- The sailing crew who navigated us against nearly every possible odd,
- Strangers, pals of pals, new friends, and all the souls encountered who are helping, hosting, supporting, and perpetually inspiring me,
- The peaceful pilgrims who journeyed before me, and those who will come after,

has there ever been a happier place on planet earth than inside the sensual and sacred hugs of room 2 subs? it was a pleasure to be back front row last weekend and an honor to share some lil sounds from the booth too.
when opening the night saturday eve, i tried to sum up all the creative and emotional inspiration i received on this specific dancefloor during the 8 editions of @freerotation.festival
that i attended. and i received a lot of it. 🥹
for these gifts and many more, i want to thank @steevio.suzybee, the volunteers, the dancers and the musicians, @theo_mullerrr and @ugo___lb, the friends of fictions, room 28 and room 3. most importantly, id like to thank everyone who campaigned until the very last minute against fascists in france! no crocodile or cane toad dances on a fascist planet!!! 🐸

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
Anonstories lets users view Instagram stories without alerting the creator.
Works seamlessly on iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and modern browsers like Chrome and Safari.
Prioritizes secure, anonymous browsing without requiring login credentials.
Users can view public stories by simply entering a username—no account needed.
Downloads photos (JPEG) and videos (MP4) with ease.
The service is free to use.
Content from private accounts can only be accessed by followers.
Files are for personal or educational use only and must comply with copyright rules.
Enter a public username to view or download stories. The service generates direct links for saving content locally.
