Euny Hong’s The Birth of Korean Cool explains how South Korea rejected the one-size-fits-all model, created strategies suited to its own context, and steadily grew its cultural and technological footprint. What appeared to be an overnight phenomenon, was decades of focused effort since Korean independence in 1945.
India’s journey has been different. We haven’t seen a similar global cultural surge. Yet our progress has been largely organic, achieved without large scale Western support that some Asian nations received.
Things are shifting now. Fortunately, political will is beginning to align with the ambitions of the youth and Bharat is taking bold steps in technology, manufacturing, world trade and military strength.

This should not merely be an aspiration but also our responsibility. AI can become a powerful tool in this mission.
Recently, INS Kaundinya, a vessel built using 2000-year-old maritime technique, completed its maiden voyage, demonstrating how rediscovering ancient wisdom can lead to current innovation.
If a nation of 50 million could create K-Cool and change its destiny, imagine what 1.4 billion people can achieve with confidence, clarity, and sustained effort.
