I’ve been wanting to share a little about this world we've been building, where I come from, what shaped me & the energy that drives me.

At the heart of Xenia is something that’s always meant a lot to me, the power of coming together & how music can carry those feelings much farther than words ever could.

The story behind this latest project runs deep. I’ve been in this game for a minute & there’s so much I could say but here’s a glimpse of my story, the beginnings, the roots, the energy that inspired it all.

I hope you enjoy it & if you can, I encourage you to check out some of the originators & collaborators I mention. They’re a huge part of why this world of Xenia exists in the first place.

Minitecas are the Venezuelan equivalent of the mobile sound systems found throughout the Caribbean. Whether it was the archetypal Sound Systems of Jamaica, the colorful Picós of Colombia, or the cumbia-infused Sonideros of Mexico, the phenomenon of mobile sound systems was as alive in Venezuela as it was in the rest of its Caribbean counterparts.

It is said that the first Sound System to coin the term “Miniteca” (mini discoteque/tiny discoteque) was Los Muertos Andantes from the island of Margarita in Venezuela,
who played on top of a coffin-shaped piece of furniture.

This fanzine is a tribute to Venezuelan creativity. Minitecas logos became unique images that represented musical preferences, but also, where you came from. A declaration of intent. Many of these logos became cult items for collectors and nostalgics. These logos represent moments of Venezuelan Dance Culture that we must always remember.

Phran｡･:˚* Embassa’t 2026

El Embassa’t de este año acoge a un gran productor y DJ venezolano establecido en Barcelona, @djphran 🌪️

Es conocido por explorar la unión entre techno, electro y acid con ritmos tropicales y poco convencionales. 🎛️ Su música transita entre paisajes rave y club, siempre impregnada de una mirada personal y profunda que conecta con el underground.

Al frente de su propio sello Vimana y co-director de ACA, Phran también ha publicado en sellos de referencia como Klasse Wrecks y, más recientemente, en Club Romantico de DJ Florentino.

Nos hace mucha ilusión invitarles a una nueva fiesta 'Xenia Club: Piscis Season', el próximo sábado 14 de marzo en @7833_soundlab

Estará pinchando por primera vez con nosotros mi querido y admirado @text.olivia, a quien tuve la oportunidad de escuchar hace unos meses en el @bilbaobbklive, donde fue curador del escenario 'Lasai', con una propuesta de BPMs rebajados muy interesante, y donde también estuvo pinchando @chica__acosta también por debajo de los 100bpm.

Entiendo que ambos vendrán esta vez con distintas variantes en los BPMs y una propuesta más ecléctica, bien enfocada en el dancefloor.

También estaré pinchando este dia junto a ellos, y los 3 estaremos celebrando una nueva vuelta al sol y los primeros rayos de sol primaveral.

Nos hace mucha ilusión invitarles a una nueva fiesta 'Xenia Club: Piscis Season', el próximo sábado 14 de marzo en @7833_soundlab

Estará pinchando por primera vez con nosotros mi querido y admirado @text.olivia, a quien tuve la oportunidad de escuchar hace unos meses en el @bilbaobbklive, donde fue curador del escenario 'Lasai', con una propuesta de BPMs rebajados muy interesante, y donde también estuvo pinchando @chica__acosta también por debajo de los 100bpm.

Entiendo que ambos vendrán esta vez con distintas variantes en los BPMs y una propuesta más ecléctica, bien enfocada en el dancefloor.

También estaré pinchando este dia junto a ellos, y los 3 estaremos celebrando una nueva vuelta al sol y los primeros rayos de sol primaveral.

Ese día tocó hacer closing set, luego de un warm up delicioso de DJ Leeon y un potente live set a cargo de @gladkazuka.

La noche fue memorable en todo sentido, rodeados de gente hermosa y con la energía muy arriba de principio a fin. De esas noches que nunca se olvidan.
