It was my first time collaborating with director Spencer King and DP Sean Mouton, and it was a privilege to help bring their vision to life. Shot against the rich, expansive landscapes of the American West, ‘The Wilderness’ is a visceral, visually striking exploration of youth, control, and survival. The film follows a group of teenage boys forced into a harsh wilderness therapy program deep in the Utah desert, where the line between rehabilitation and manipulation begins to blur. This story carries both cinematic scope and emotional urgency, raising awareness about institutional harm and advocating for youth rights. Proud to have contributed to such a powerful and beautifully crafted film.
