Happy World Ballet Day!I’m one of those dancers that will say I couldn’t do it without Ballet. I wouldn’t have the control, skill, endurance, and technique without it. Ballet molded and shaped not only my style and body, but also my career and how I look at things. Ballet is made up of a series of positions, rules, principles, etc. These are the building blocks in your technique. Throughout my many years of training, I learned the goal wasn’t to follow every single rule or utilize every position but rather to utilize these building blocks as a jumping off point to further exploration, expression, and expansion.

I can’t give credit to just Ballet but to the amazing Ballet teachers that I’ve had throughout my life. The ones who showed me Ballet is more than just a “technique”; it’s a way to move, explore, and grow.

I wanted to share this specific video from a work done by the amazing @ximegurri_official When doing these moves so beautifully strung together by Ximena it felt as if electricity was ringing through my body (not only cause of my chemistry with @ehartzy ;)) but because I LOVE to dance! I love to feel the passion through my body when I can express someone’s story or my own.

It was an absolute delight to be background in one of my favorite shows. The costume was unbelievable and a perfect fit! The bell was rung for no alterations! 🔔 I even learned best practices for using the powder room when wearing it. And so lucky to have been in a scene with all of the greats. I felt so welcomed and when the legendary @officialdonnamurphy dressed as Miss Astor told me how beautiful I looked I felt like I was on cloud 9. 💙

As a senior reflecting back on my years on stage at Marymount Manhattan, I feel like I could not have asked for a better performance to end with than ‘Volata’. 
This piece taught me how to bring together elements of strength, resilience, sass, and grace and somehow showcase them as if it was effortless. I have definitely utilized all those elements to get through my college years!
I am extremely grateful to @pruizjr0823 for offering me this opportunity. I also appreciate the beautiful hard-working cast I had the privilege of working with.

Union Status: SAG-AFTRA ☑️

I feel so blessed to announce that I have officially joined the SAG-AFTRA Union. To be apart of the same union as some of the most incredibly talented people is surreal. And a union that is always there for their members. I could not have done it without the support of my family who never misses a beat to be there for me! Can’t wait to see what the future holds!
