Cinq œuvres, cinq manières d’écouter : une traversée immersive entre apophénie, machines, corps et frissons sensoriels, révélant les glissements de la perception.

Ce concert inaugural de la Saison26 nous plongera dans les zones troubles de la perception, entre ce que nous croyons voir, entendre ou comprendre, et ce que les œuvres nous imposent comme friction, glissement. 5 pièces, 5 régimes d’écoute qui forment une traversée où le corps humain, la machine, l’image et les frissons sensoriels se confondent. Le nouveau rendez-vous musique du mois de décembre !

@ensemble_vortex propose la sixième édition de cette expérience novatrice de création sonore, développée avec le soutien de @prohelvetia Fondation suisse pour la culture Pro Helvetia, en partenariat avec @labri_geneve et @archipelgeneve.

👉 Quatre jeunes artistes sonores sont choisi·es pour trois sessions de travail intense, réparties sur une année, en étroite collaboration avec les instrumentistes et les compositeurs de Vortex. Les œuvres réalisées durant cette période peuvent prendre des formes très diverses: composition musicale, installation sonore, performance, théâtre musical et autres créations hybrides impliquant le son. Multiverse of a Birdcage is an electroacoustic installation conceived by Alexandre Joly and Daniel Zea. Comprising 17 suspended panels containing nearly 1,500 piezos, it forms a hybrid acousmonium with subtle resonances, where sound unfolds like an experimental form of lutherie. A true listening lounge, the installation plays works by 41 artists
Artist residencies punctuate the exhibition: each artist has one week within the installation to compose a piece, which will then be performed in concert on Saturday at 8:30 pm

À l’occasion de KorSonoR, Alexandre Joly et Daniel Zea invitent trois artistes en résidence, Olga Kokcharova, Sergei Leonov et Jiwon Seo. Chacun·e·x disposera d’une semaine pour proposer une œuvre inédite, présentée ensuite en concert, le samedi à 20h30 dans le dispositif.
En complément, Alexandre Joly et Daniel Zea utiliseront également le dispositif pendant une semaine pour travailler à leurs pièces respectives, ce qui donnera également lieu à un concert.

Concert de Jiwon Seo
Dans un espace suspendu, des souffles, des ondes et des traces de résonance se croisent et se dissolvent.
Trois forces — ni nommées, ni visibles — se cherchent dans un mouvement de lente métamorphose.
Ici, l’écoute devient une traversée : celle d’un monde qui respire, silencieusement, à travers nous.

Jiwon Seo (né·e en 1993 en Corée du Sud) est un·e compositeur·rice et artiste interdisciplinaire basé·e à Genève.
Son travail explore les frontières entre musique acoustique et numérique, performance, vidéo et théâtre visuel.
Formé·e à la musique traditionnelle coréenne et à la composition contemporaine en Corée, en France et en Suisse, iel développe un langage mêlant poésie, technologie et mémoire culturelle.
Lauréat·e de plusieurs prix et boursier·e de la Fondation Nicati-de Luze, Jiwon collabore avec des ensembles tels que l’Ensemble Intercontemporain, Ictus et AccrocheNote.
Ses œuvres ont été présentées dans des festivals internationaux tels que Musica, Archipel, Rainy Days et Les Amplitudes.
Iel s’intéresse particulièrement aux nouveaux médias, à la 3D et à l’intelligence artificielle pour élargir la portée de sa musique.
