FUNGI, Anarchist Designers officially opened from yesterday! We dressed up as mushrooms, listened to the wise words by @donnaharaway1944, @rosibraidottiofficial, and my co-curator for the exhibition Anna Tsing, and danced together as a fungi community. What a wonderful night to share together, and what a beautiful journey to make this exhibition possible with all of you ❤️ (and thank you friends who sent me these videos and photos)

If you find yourself in Rotterdam, don’t miss the FUNGI exhibition at @nieuweinstituut!

🌱🌍 Introducing 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 @terri_s_tories (草木•空间) - A knowledge-making space exploring intersections between empirical research and spatial practice 🌍🌱

After years of dreaming, planning, and refining, I’m thrilled to finally launch terriStories — a Nanjing-based studio with a planetary perspective. At terriStories, we believe in the power of spatial interventions to drive ecological and social justice, pushing the boundaries of what “design” can mean and accomplish within today’s entangled industrial and capitalistic landscape.

Join us on this journey where spatial design unfolds as stories of land, water, and airscapes — reimagined for more-than-human worlds. 🌊✨

If you would like to collaborate on projects that prioritise ecological and social justice, or cultural preservation, we’d love to connect.🌿

Today marks the official publication of 𝘍𝘪𝘦𝘭𝘥 𝘎𝘶𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘺 𝘈𝘯𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘦: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦, published by @stanfordupress. What a journey! Collaboratively written with Anna Tsing, Jennifer Deger @jendeg99, and Alder Keleman Saxena, 𝘍𝘪𝘦𝘭𝘥 𝘎𝘶𝘪𝘥𝘦 serves both as a continuation of @feralatlas and a curious exploration into how new perspectives—through empirical observations, place-based knowledge, and trans-epistemological collaborations—can help us better understand the complex web of ecological and social challenges and injustices.

In the midst of the political and environmental chaos we face, we ought to work through our differences and embrace diverse modes of knowledge-making practices through both building and unbuilding.

Book cover featuring my drawing “Acceleration”, made in collaboration with Amy Lien and Enzo Camacho @uncoercive_.

𝘐𝘯𝘷𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 is now on show at @radius.cca as part of DISMANTLE THE ANTHROPOCENE — TERRESTRIAL TALES FROM THE LATE HOLOCENE, curated by @niekolaas_j_lekkerkerk, assisted by @mariagoncalvesbalz.

I fell in love with the space the first time I visited. It’s a real pleasure to be showing work here.

The earth’s ecosystem relies on interdependency, as Fungi: Anarchist Designers co-curators Anna Tsing and Feifei Zhou (@feisgram) reflect in an interdisciplinary show that fuses research and art to centre mushrooms in our daily lives.

Like spores, mushroom-themed exhibitions have been in the air in recent years. At London’s Somerset House (@somersethouse) in 2020, Mushrooms: The Art, Design and Future of Fungi brought together more than 40 artists, including collages by Cy Twombly and John Cage’s Mushroom Book of recipes. Fungi – in art and science at the Nobel Prize Museum (@nobelprizemuseum) in Stockholm in 2023 combined artist works with the literary world of novelist Olga Tokarczuk (in House of Day, House of Night (1998) she writes: ‘If I weren’t a human being, I would want to be a mushroom.’). Meanwhile, in 2022, experimental band The Observatory presented REFUSE, an exhibition about music, mushrooms and decomposition at the Singapore Art Museum (singaporeartmuseum).

If artists and curators have been delighted to encounter mycology as an easy metaphor for alternative sources of knowledge and epistemic value systems, Tsing and Zhou’s show resolutely tries to do something different.

Fungi: Anarchist Designers is only display at at Nieuwe Instituut (@nieuweinstituut) in Rotterdam, Netherlands, until 8 August 2026.

Today, the curators of FUNGI: Anarchist Designers, anthropologist Anne Tsing and architect-artist FeiFei Zhoe(@terri_s_tories, @feisgram), highlight the work "Matsutake Lead the Way" by researcher Shiho Satsutake and Liu Yi (@liuyiart).

In this animation, you see the history of Japan depicted through the relationship between pine seeds and fungi. Together, the fungi and the pine seeds create a root system and subsequently a forest. The magic of this stop-motion animation is that it is hand-painted frame by frame with ink. Some of the scenes you see are based on site visits to Japan last November.

It truly made my day to receive 𝘐𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨, in which I wrote an article about my artistic methodologies through Muay Thai as a metaphorical and analytical tool. I had soooo much fun writing this despite being completely exhausted after 4/5 hours training everyday back in the summer, and I’m super proud of how it came together! 💪🏼

Huge thanks to editor @charlotte_jul for the invitation, and to @guyvorapo for the photographs taken at @superbon.trainingcamp which helped bring these ideas into focus.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
