When you think of a shooting club in Berlin, a number of associations are sure to spring to mind. For example, life in the countryside, green uniforms, a hyper-masculine climate where older gentlemen drink beer or even problematic political opinions are shared. These are topics that are not primarily associated with a progressive city like Berlin. But there are actually 86 shooting clubs here, not all of which fit into the above categories. In the film, we want to explore the landscape of “shooting enthusiasts” in Berlin and explore their often inconspicuous, hidden and sometimes mysterious spaces. The aim of the film is not to evaluate the clubs, but to provide a documentary insight into a world that many find threatening. The film attempts to show the different aspects of shooting, club life and the variance in the Berlin shooting scene.

Hangars / Solo-Ausstellung am 11. &
12. Mai im Flughafen Tempelhof am Feld vor Hangar 7.

Ich bin super glücklich mitzuteilen, dass nach Wochen und Monaten der Vorbereitung und einem intensiven Shooting dieses Wochenende eine Einzelausstellung von mir zu sehen sein wird. Ein riesen Dankeschön an alle und das ganze Team, die mit großer Unterstützung jederzeit mitgeholfen und alles ermöglicht haben. Das Projekt entstand in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Geflüchtetenheim (IB & AWO) im Flughafen Tempelhof, der Formula E sowie der Universität der Künste Berlin.

Die Ausstellung ‚Hangers‘ besteht aus acht Portraits über Menschen unter anderem aus Syrien, Afghanistan und Nigeria.
Die Fotografien nimmt Menschen in den Fokus, deren temporäreres Zuhause der ehemalige Tempelhofer Flughafen, eines der größten Geflüchtetenheime Deutschlands, ist. Die Bilder sollen Einblick in eine Welt ermöglichen, in die wir keinen Zugang haben. Zudem gewähren Interviews eine intime Einsicht in die Gedankenwelt der portraitierten Personen.

Die Projektidee entstand initial an der UdK im Labor für Fotografie unter Sebastian Herold und dem Seminar „Projektentwicklung“ unter Zebu Kluth.
Die daraus entstandene Kooperation konnte mit der IB, der AWO, dem LAF und der Formula E umgesetzt werden. Im Rahmen der Formula E wurde von Gil und Weingärtner das Ausstellungsdesign für die Präsentation der Fotografien entwickelt und realisiert, sowie die Interviews ausformuliert und gedruckt.

Die zu sehenden Fotografien sind ausschließlich mit männlich Geflüchteten, da auf den Fotografien mit Frauen auch Kinder zu sehen sind, welche ich vorerst nicht online stellen werde.

Die daraus entstandene Kooperation konnte mit der IB, der AWO, dem LAF und der Formula E umgesetzt werden. Im Rahmen der Formula E wurde von Gil und Weingärtner das Ausstellungsdesign für die Präsentation der Fotografien entwickelt und realisiert, sowie die Interviews ausformuliert und gedruckt.

Die zu sehenden Fotografien sind ausschließlich mit männlich Geflüchteten, da auf den Fotografien mit Frauen auch Kinder zu sehen sind, welche ich vorerst nicht online stellen werde.

Dokumentation, 16:9. Farbe, Sound

Die Dokumentation Maritim begleitet über eine Dauer von 48 Stunden die Crew der internationalen Umweltorganisation Sea Shepherd, die während der Baltic Sea Campaign mit ihrem Schiff durch die Ostsee patrouilliert. Ziel der Kampagne ist es, illegale Fischerei und Geisternetze aufzuspüren, sowie das Meer von Müllteppichen zu befreien.
Der Film versucht mit beobachtenden Bildern den Alltag der Schiffsbesatzung einzufangen und möglichst objektiv abzubilden. Szene für Szene eröffnet sich die Welt der akribischen Arbeit des Teams an Deck der Triton, wo kein Tag dem anderen gleicht.
