𝓐𝓫𝓫𝔂 𝓢𝓾𝓷𝓭𝓫𝓸𝓻𝓷 ~ 𝓗𝓸𝓵𝓭𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓟𝓪𝓽𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓷 💗
Abby Sundborn is quiet observer. An active composer, performer, improviser and collaborator within Melbourne’s fertile DIY underground, she equally appreciates time spent on the other side of the stage, attentively listening, imagining and finding beauty in her surroundings
Holding Pattern is perhaps the clearest distillation of Sundborn’s musical vision - one that is rooted in intimacy and vulnerability and pays homage to countless memories both shared and in solitude. A time-dilating piece for cello and voice performed to a small audience, it is fragile music with a deceptive intensity that unravels far beyond the confines of the dimly lit space in which it was performed
At its apex lies 𝓢𝓱𝓮𝓭, a title symbolising the 𝒷𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓀𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝑜𝒻 𝒽𝒶𝒷𝒾𝓉𝓊𝒶𝓁 𝓅𝒶𝓉𝓉𝑒𝓇𝓃𝓈 that can lead to one’s life becoming too routine and unconsciously self-destructive. The interplay between her cello and voice is entrancing and portrays an emotionally attuned composer with deft sensitivity to space and time. 𝐼 𝓀𝓃𝑒𝓌 𝐼 𝓌𝒶𝓃𝓉𝑒𝒹 𝓉𝑜 𝓂𝒶𝓀𝑒 𝓈𝑜𝓂𝑒𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝒻𝑒𝓁𝓉 𝓌𝒶𝓇𝓂 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝒻𝑜𝒸𝓊𝓈𝑒𝒹, 𝒷𝓊𝓉 𝓃𝑜𝓉 𝓈𝑜 𝓂𝓊𝒸𝒽 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒸𝒶𝓃’𝓉 𝑔𝑒𝓉 𝑜𝓊𝓉. Always self-observational and never rushed, Sundborn seemingly utilises negative space as moments of reflection - her voice a vessel for ascension and grief that drifts slowly into the distance
Sundborn’s work is rigorous yet free-flowing and has seen light on 𝓐𝓵𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓮𝓭 𝓢𝓽𝓪𝓽𝓮𝓼, 𝓓𝓪𝓲𝓼𝓪𝓻𝓽 and 𝓐𝓫𝓼𝓸𝓻𝓫. Holding Pattern is her first appearance on A Colourful Storm following time shared on stage and in collaboration with 𝓣𝓸𝓷𝔂 𝓑𝓾𝓬𝓴 (The Necks), 𝓙𝓸𝓷𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓮 (HTRK) and 𝓛𝓲𝓼𝓪 𝓛𝓮𝓻𝓴𝓮𝓷𝓯𝓮𝓵𝓭𝓽 (Shelter Press) ✨
Pre-order includes download of Shed. Full album out on tape and digital April 17

please feel warmly invited for our 3rd event of 𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘖𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘦
𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘖𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘦 is a program series of performative acts exploring how poetry, sound, and speech present ways of disorganizing and fragmenting the formation of a supposed unified sense of self – opening up to the intersubjective experience of being together. The series proposes an interplay between the possession and dispossession of the self within an encounter with the limits of language, where words are being lent bodies, where sounds travel as voice and act as bodies, through bodies. The focus of 𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘖𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘦 lies in listening to each other, which, as a practice, is always already resisting normativity’s hollowing out of interpersonal relations.
𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘖𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘐𝘐𝘐 presents performances by artists Adrienne Herr and Angelina Nonaj, who engage with uses of language and words by activating voice and body through phonetics, characters, transcription, and translation.
For this specific iteration, text-based artworks will also be on show in the space. Come early for a chance to see!

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
