Art in Practice is a dedicated space for our team to slow down, pick up a new medium, and engage with the world around them as observers and makers. Watercolor, charcoal, oil, sketch. In our studios, in museums, in the landscapes and cities we work within.
Drawing is a tool by which we learn the design proportions, scale and details of timeworn and beloved destinations. We believe that sharpening our eye and training our hand help us envision the next generation of extraordinary places, armed with a mastery toolkit.
What informs your creative process outside of the work itself?

This private residence was designed, in collaboration with @studiomcgee, to feel as though it has always belonged to this landscape. Stone with a sense of permanence, timber that reveals its grain, finishes that deepen with every passing season.
The great room anchors the home with a vaulted ceiling, a substantial stone fireplace, and an opposing plaster hood. Moving inward, the atmosphere shifts. The palette deepens, spaces grow more intimate, and each room carries its own character without losing the thread of the whole.

A look inside the villas of one of the most exclusive golf courses in the world, as featured in @elledecor.
Hart Howerton served as master planner and architect for the project, approaching the villas as an essential part of the APOGEE experience. The goal was to create private retreats that feel connected to the life of the club, the landscape, and the view.
A defining idea behind the villas is the relationship between indoors and out. Floor-to-ceiling glazing, deep overhangs, and clerestory windows blur that boundary, allowing the homes to open naturally to the course while still feeling comfortable and protected.
As Jim Tinson, Partner and CEO at Hart Howerton, told ELLE Decor: “We create places, not projects.”

Nestled in the heart of Greenwich Village, this open and airy home was designed for a young family with a focus on preserving the loft’s character while seamlessly integrating contemporary design elements. Vibrant hues are softened by the warmth of natural oak tambour paneling, creating a welcoming space ideal for both intimate gatherings and lively entertaining.

Framed by the fairway, shaped for living.
Featured in @elledecor, Apogee reflects a new perspective on the private club experience. Meyer Davis approached the design through a human-centered lens to shape how each space is lived in, both on and off the course.
Developed with a shared vision alongside @harthowerton and owner Stephen Ross, the project reimagines the traditional club paradigm. Conceived as a home first, hospitality second, the villas are embedded within the landscape, with low-profile architecture, expansive glazing, and natural materials that frame the course and invite it inward.

@resonanceconsultancy’s The Future of Luxury Travel, developed in partnership with Hart Howerton, points to a clear north star for luxury and ultra-luxury hospitality: today’s travelers are seeking adventure and discovery, cultural depth and authenticity, alongside comfort and genuinely thoughtful care.
Among the Top 1% of travelers, Resonance identifies Experience Enthusiasts as the largest segment at 51%, with Cultural Explorers close behind at 30%. These audiences are drawn to movement, discovery, learning, local connection, and experiences that feel deeply tied to place. For destinations, resorts, and hospitality brands, the opportunity is to create places that can hold all of that at once: active days, meaningful cultural immersion, thoughtful service, and a sense of relaxation.

The guest house of the East Hampton estate was inspired by old barns and carriage houses that were expanded and modified over time. While it is an entirely new structure, reclaimed beams, antique floors, and a mix of thoughtful details lend the guest house a sense of history that feels more relaxed than the main residence. On the exterior, weathered shingles and soft green trim blend the guest house naturally into the adjacent dunes.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
