We're excited to share 'The Green Man' bronze plaque, a public artwork created collaboratively by participants of Portal Project and Antropia CIC.

The plaque reimagines the ancient figure of the Green Man - a guardian of thresholds and a symbol of renewal, resilience and hope.

Each plaque carries a unique QR code linking to resources for people affected by homelessness and will be installed in public spaces across London.

The first plaque will be installed in the garden of St. Paul's Church (AKA Actors' Church) in Covent Garden in late January. The other is currently on loan to @swisschurchlondon.

If you or your organisation would like to house a plaque, please get in touch! We have an edition of 5.

Visit our website to learn more about The Green Man and the ideas behind this project (link in bio).

So pleased to announce ‘Stories at the Seams’ by Portal Project, opening next Thursday 6 Nov at @swisschurchlondon. This is our first public exhibition via new CIC, Antropia @a.n.t.r.o.p.i.a

Emerging from an annual workshop and mentorship programme, the exhibition is by a collective of 13 artists (Portal Project) with lived experience of homelessness and explores the threshold between reality and mythology.

Artists: Alastair, Daiga, John J Sheehy, Johnny B, Lewis EM, L (el), Lui Saatchi, Mary Vallely, Matt R, Peter H, Pete C. , RICASO, Richard Fletcher

🗓️ 6 - 9 Nov 2025
~ Opening hours: Friday - Sunday, 12 - 6pm
~ Private view (all welcome): Thurs 6 Nov, 5 - 8pm & includes a short talk by John Bird, Founder of the Big Issue, on art and healing.

Portal Project is a collaborative art collective, coordinated through Antropia CIC, working with people affected by homelessness. Through weekly workshops, we co-create public artworks, exhibitions and events that share their stories and perspectives.

Stemming from the artists’ own journeys, the works in ‘Stories at the Seams’ explore entanglements of lived experience and mythology. Spanning drawings, paintings and ceramics, they weave together folklore and memory, cityscapes and ancient deities, bodies and plant ecologies. The exhibition maps the artists’ personal and creative accounts of living between worlds. Here, at the junction of wildness and home, exclusion and belonging, where the known world begins to fray, thresholds emerge into the fantastical.

The exhibition includes a collaboratively made Green Man plaque, designed by Portal Project artists and Antropia CIC. It will form part of a limited series of six public artworks to be installed across Camden. Each holds a QR code linking to an online resource list for people experiencing homelessness, offering information on shelters, food and shower access points, as well as health and legal support.

In partnership with @bigissueuk @rochestersquareofficial @swisschurchlondon @londongraphiccentre

About year ago, I started working on a new body of drawings looking at fossils, stars, Wiltshire chalk streams and storytelling.

They have very much been supported by a recent DYCP grant (thanks to @aceagrams) through @hotdesque , which all began in the magical city of Turin on a research residency with @nthspace.

Happy to be sharing this piece, ‘Snakestones on the Mantle’, in coloured pencil & graphite, 50x70cm.

We’ve been busy recently forming a Community Interest Company @a.n.t.r.o.p.i.a , focussing on art & wellbeing through participatory and site-responsive projects (in collaboration with wonderful artist, curator and healer @amandacamenisch).

We’ll still be continuing with our art/curatorial stuff here but, if you’re interested in seeing what we’re up to there, do give us a follow / check out our snazzy new website www.antropia.org.uk

More about Antropia:
➰We approach public art and art-making as active forces that can shape experience, shift perception, and open pathways between people, places, and ideas.

➰We believe that public spaces hold memory, emotion, conflict, and potential. Through creative interventions, these spaces can become positive catalysts for places and people.

➰Through workshops, installations, performances, research and collective events, we work with individuals and communities of all ages, including those experiencing marginalisation, displacement or isolation, as well as children and young people.

➰We work to create and/or co-create projects that centre care, imagination, and social connection and help people become active agents in shaping their environments and stories.

Big thanks to @yanco.studio for the logo design

What fun we had last weekend, making little recycled paper puppets of the flora and fauna of London’s waterways. These cuties got plenty of love too 🐀🌱

Thank you to everyone who stopped by!

The workshop was supported by @citywestminster as part of the North Paddington Canalside Festival.

Thinking through and between scales of perception and experience, we’ve been looking at these intricate foraminifera microfossils.

These tiny fossilised skeletons of microscopic plants and animals from the deep seabed have extremely fast evolutionary rates and sensitivity to temperature changes. When they die, they mix with sand and silt—sediments that prevent their complete decay and form layers of suspended past lives.

These unique beings have been indicators in decades-long research into calibrating geological time. They hold knowledge of ancient and future climate changes, as well secrets for the potential build up of fossil resources for deep-sea mining. Like a scripture, they point to deep time, life and our shared delicate future.

Finally sharing some of the beautiful contributions made during a collaborative embossing workshop at King’s College London last year, organised by Frederika Tevebring @tevebrings.art.

The result is a fold-out book of speculative amalgams and reconfigurations of enlarged seeds, cells and other micro-organisms, fossilised on foil and food trays.

Inspired by ongoing research into re-enchantment, interspecies kinship and staging, we considered micro-macro perspectives to create series of hybrid inscriptions of more-than-human lifeforms.

@mariacynkier
& more!

Throwback to our collaborative film Terrestrial Act, can’t believe this was already 4 years ago in Earth Time 🌱

These stills feature artworks by @samcarvosso that were woven into a visual narrative, using theatrical tropes to animate supposedly inanimate matter on stage.

Shot on stage at the Theatre Royal Newcastle with cinematographer @rosie_taylor_

After an auspicious alignment last weekend of Jupiter, Mars, Venus and Saturn, here are some spheres and circles currently orbiting our studio:

Seaweed farming in the Philippines, the cleared Amazon farmland in Brazil exposing ancient earthworks, vertical farming in the UK, billionaires vending machine rooms in the USA, 14th and 15th century English astronomical tables and astrolabes.

Our new piece made for the San Mei Gallery Fundraiser Exhibition - now available for sale online and in person for their urgent fundraiser. Link in bio.

The piece draws on our ongoing process of shifting focus between past and present, staged and unstaged, organic and fabricated.

‘Moonflower’ depicts a night-blooming flower, plants which evolved to open at night to attract moth pollinators. Native to tropical regions of North and South America, it was used by Mesoamerican civilisations as part of a chemical process of vulcanisation, to create rubber from tree sap. This process predates by at least 3,000 years American chemist Charles Goodyear’s patented ‘invention’ of vulcanisation in 1844.

Made from embossed copper and hand-cut paper collage, and sitting between digital aesthetics and hand craft, the flower acts as a central character on a neon grid and a blue-screen backdrop, waiting to be implanted into film.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
