This song is pure energy. It’s about getting up, moving, doing — because life is a dance...
I wrote it when I started thinking about the old days… playing Beatles and Elvis songs on acoustic guitars as teenagers, not caring about anything, just doing what we loved. That feeling of freedom. That fire.
And I asked myself: how much of that energy is still left?
I wanted to feel it again — to bring it back to life. And somehow, it all exploded into this track 🔥
“Get Up” became a driving Rock’n’Roll song — a piece of that raw, honest energy I don’t always have in everyday life, but could bring back in this moment.

A special day for me. ✨
Back in my hometown Hannover, following the footsteps of Emil Berliner – the man who invented the gramophone and basically kickstarted vinyl as we know it. And today, I found myself in the very place where it all began:
the old Grammophon factory.
Holding something in my hands that means a lot to me – the very first test pressing of my upcoming album. After 10 years… and for the first time ever on vinyl. 🎶
We gave it a proper spin (thanks to my good friend Robi 🙌) – and I’m happy to say: it sounds amazing.
There’s something surreal about hearing your music like this, in a place with so much history behind it.
More news on the album very soon.
