Daughter of the Inner Stars is a brand new live orchestral film concert for children aged 8-16. Inspired by the classic Peter and the Wolf, the concert marries a live narrator and original animation with a unique orchestral score, showcasing the profound power of musical storytelling with the help of a 65-piece orchestra.

Drawing upon Ukrainian folklore, this enchanting fairy-tale is perfect for families, igniting children’s imaginations whilst captivating adults with its evocative music and animated artistry.

The world premiere of Daughter of the Inner Stars will take place with the @sydneysymphonyorchestra on 23rd August 2024, featuring the voice of @amylehpamer as narrator and conducted by its composer, @bucnicholas.

Prepare to be swept away by a soaring performance of myth, magic, and music as we follow a young woman on her journey to rekindle a lost connection with the ancient spirits of her winter planet in order to rescue her missing father.
