We wanted to bring you something meant to change the usual pace of things. A night with a loose interpretation of music brought to you by each selector of the night. Keepin' it under 115BPM with freedom to get as looooow as we need to spark a mood. There's some room to dance, and lots of comfortable places to chat. To tea. To Ki with intention.

I've been taking it super easy on myself in all aspects the last couple weeks, and it has been so worth it. Caught up on sleep. Cut out 99% of the "fun" stuff.Cooked for myself and Jason Martin every day. Going for a walk to the grocery store at least once a day.

First DJ gig back in the city is a very special gathering with one of my best friends in the world @_notacop420 + the drummer from the band that taught me how to dance, @lotusinstagram 🏵
To top it off, it's a @casual_hand shindig.

@mbgreenfield aka Greenie is swinging by @jupiter_disco for a 1AM DJ set after the Lotus show at @brooklynbowl to keep the night going.
Expect funk.

Silent Night is back with our first non-radioevent and neither is it necessarily at night anymore, ergo Silent Noon. We find ourselves at a new spot, @nonazarartnyc in the East Village, with four skilled DJs mixing our usual programming of ambient, downtempo and experimental music. Not without the pure love and compassion we hold for each other, both as lovers, and as friends. We knew we really wanted to play something together for Valentine’s Day, and celebrate each other by doing the thing we’ve always done together. The first time we met, it was at @bossanovacivicclub on a Tuesday. Em wanted to show me some other spots, so we wandered over to @happyfunhideaway where we played together for the first time at a @steenschmidt open decks. Fast forward to now, we’ve gone from 15 minute open deck sets to 8 hour sets at @animal.nyc and it’s just been such an amazing experience being a part of this journey with someone I care about so much.

Come dance with us February 12 to do some early V-Day stuff. We are also celebrating my birthday early (It’s Feb 21st), and we have one of our favorite selectors that happens to be a heady local, @daniel_tepper aka DJ MFA setting the tone for 3 hours before we take over as @bodyart.now for the last 3 hours. Danceable slow jams are the theme, but who knows what we end up playing. We are also adding some @fullspectrum.aiff touch to the space.
