Last year Alex also shot an 8min art film that we had the chance to collaborate on. It is currently running a festival circuit and showing in her NY art gallery. I was asked if I would produce Robbie Maddison's next insane stunt and didn't hesitate when they said they wanted to break the Moto backflip world record - on a Razor MotoScooter (better luck next time @olivertree). I laughed a ton when I was sent a bar napkin sketch of a ramp under a helicopter showing how they wanted to do it - and started to have some heart palpitations sitting in a grounded helicopter in Ramona, CA at 6am the day of the stunt on the phone with Lloyds of London to get our insurance bound after a month of negotiations and paperwork. But in the end... check out the crazy shit we pulled off.

I had the pleasure of working with @waltercmay in putting this story together, along with @seanmaccormac who directed the stunt of a lifetime and was hanging under the ramp while Robbie rode it.
And thanks @morgan_lohman @lohman.helicopter for being crazy enough to fly us.
