Although it hasn’t premiered theatrically in the US just yet, the new Warner Bros logo did premiere over the weekend on HBOMax for a film called ‘Am I Ok?’ Huge thanks to @devastudios for having me on board the project — believe it or not this was many years in the making, so many iterations and versions led to the final recording session.Props to the amazing John Busenberg for steering the ship and keeping this alive over the long haul!!

Out today!! Working with @herschelfaber on @ethanbloommovie was ridiculously fun—-synthwave pop, retro 80s vibes, comedy, delicate emotional coming-of-age stuff —-the score went all over the place and I loved it.

The film is in select theaters around the country currently and I’ll be introducing the film at the Jewish Film Festival this evening.

People who know me well know that I’ve been working with Openclaw extensively the last four months or so and many have asked lots of questions about it. Openclaw is a very powerful tool and I think I’ve only scratched the surface with what it’s capable of and, as creatives, we need to figure out how this can augment our skills and daily lives. The Silicon Valley folks won’t understand how it will fit into our workflows. Using this, Claude code, local models— it’s all early days and can really go anywhere. I imagine this is what the beginning of the internet might have felt like. I would encourage my colleagues in music and film to explore all of this stuff and see if it can help you in any way. Especially considering all the doom and gloom this feels like something you can build and develop for yourself.
Would love to know your thoughts and if anybody else is out there using it???

Scoring this show is such a unique challenge because the discussions we have about the music are so detailed—-probably more than any show we’ve been on. We’re constantly exploring how to bridge the gap between a traditional cinematic score and the energy of hip-hop & pop. It’s about more than just “background music”—it’s about how those genres define the culture and the characters on screen.
I can’t wait to get into the weeds of our creative process and talk about how we bring it all together from the page to the final mix.
