Was an honour to direct a @nickcaveofficial advert for his ‘homecoming’ gig.

A special project that takes us on a journey through the history of the band, its lyrical relationship to the city of Brighton - that in turn leads us to the site of the gig itself 🔎 🎯

It was v satisfying ‘transforming’ & ‘vibrating’ these locations to weave a story and do something that sits apart from a regular gig announcement vid. Plus massive Beamers are just fun

Wanted these to come across like some late night talk show ident or the kind of thing you’d see on public access television

In answer to the brief ‘Something Big Is Brewing’ we took the iconic Offie Radio Branded mug and treated it very literally.

Blowing up the mug to stupid proportions and thus creating some weird video postcards that they can run during live shows.

Everything was done practically in camera which was dope.

Super fun to make both in running around with @mattydeveson and going back and forth with @samuelorgan to get those beautiful tones just right.
