Four friends searching for each other inbetween reality and a collective dream.
“Fhe film emerged from a ritual I had with a dear friend, sending voice memos instantly after waking up after an impactful dream. We often dreamed of each other, of the future. In the film I explore a specific feeling the dreams brought, uncertainty of the future, being excited but overwhelmed, not being sure whats real and whats generated by accelerated always improving technology.
We explored new media and included the topic AI visually and acoustic by adding AI generated sequences and having the Voiceover switch between real voices and generated ones (out of the input of the actors). Because in the end, what is actually there? Our brain making up things or the chaos machine?” ~Writer/director Laura Russ
