Exactly one year ago, we travelled to Tbilisi as @clubcommission , joined by actors from the Berlin club scene to exchange with, listen to and learn from the people, projects and spaces shaping the local scene in Georgia.
We have just released a zine bringing together reflections and learnings from these encounters, featuring some of my analogue photographs taken during the trip. (Link in bio)

I still remember arriving alone at the airport at 4am, sleepless, catching a taxi, the driver trying to keep me awake with small talk. When he asked where I am from, I told him I was born and raised in East Germany, which immediately connected us. As we entered the city, we realised we were the same age, both just a few years old when the GDR and the Soviet Union collapsed. Too young to remember, but shaped by it nonetheless. That moment stayed with me throughout the whole trip.

Walking through Tbilisi felt strangely familiar. The architecture, the improvisation, the in between states. A city shaped by rupture and collective making.
It is striking to see how, from a country with such a traumatic recent history and shaped by systemic neglect, such a vital and energetically charged underground club scene has emerged. As Nika from the club Left Bank put it, “under conditions of oppression, counterculture becomes the only viable route.”
Clubs in Tbilisi stand at the vanguard of protest movements in a reality marked by economic hardship, injustice & acute political crisis, shaped by authoritarian shifts, anti EU sentiment, violent dispersals & repressive laws. As a result, pressure on the scene continues to intensify. In such moments, international solidarity becomes vital.

This trip showed how the Georgian club scene extends far beyond the dancefloor, creating cultural infrastructures for artistic experimentation, political education and mutual support. It also made once again clear that club culture, when rooted in solidarity and resistance, can be a powerful force for cultural and political agency.
I believe there is so much for us in Berlin to learn from this, when thinking about how we equip ourselves with integrity for increasingly uncertain political futures.

The next LOOSE TRACKS features a person who went from Berlin music industry peer to project collaborator to real-life friend in record speed ❤️

Katharin Ahrend has a *lot* on her shoulders. As one of the Managing Directors of the @clubcommission Berlin Clubcommission e.V., leading the cultural award and festival @tagderclubkultur TAG DER CLUBKULTUR and the @awarenessakademie Awareness Akademie - she is at the central point where the interests of Berlin clubs, Berlin clubbers, politics, public administration and the media all meet. At a time when the Berlin club scene (as is the case globally) is facing compounding existential crises, I wanted to take stock of the moment with someone who is better placed to speak to it than many.

Ooooooh she has a fab eclectic playlist too: DnB, rave classics, new wave Palestinian electronica and a sprinkle of grunge rounding out the palette 🤏🏿

Thanks to the Gs at Brewery Studios for the cosy studio space ❤️ @brewerystudios @1168pm ❤️

Too many feelings to fit into a personal recap of this year. So I’m just sharing my favorite photo from 2025 for some cute energy.
Thank you to everyone who stood firm while the authoritarian shift kept shifting. Thank you to those who chose solidarity and dialogue over polarization.
Wishing you a nourishing slide into the new year. 🤍

Danke!
Überall da, wo es Podcasts gibt. Link in bio & stories!

As authoritarianism rises, artistic freedom faces increasing, often subtle, restrictions—censorship, funding cuts, visa denials, and political pressure on venues and promoters. This panel brings together experts from music, policy, and activism to expose under-the-radar limitations threatening musicians, curators, and industry professionals. How can the music sector collectively resist these pressures? What strategies, alliances, and advocacy efforts can safeguard creative expression? Join us for an urgent discussion on preserving artistic freedom in an era where suppression is evolving in insidious ways.

Featuring works by @cinquecheri , @jascha_hase , @kathi.son , @studiotimtobiasjakob & @martinfaengler .

Join us for the opening tonight, or drop by any other time during the weekend!

Opening hours:
Fri, 27 June 2025 · 19:00–00:00
Sat, 28 June 2025 · 12:00–00:00
Sun, 29 June 2025 · 12:00–19:00

Where does reality end, and illusion begin?
Five artistic positions explore how perception is constructed and manipulated from different perspectives. The works in this exhibition reveal the subtle mechanisms that shape our reality—showing how fact and fiction are often inseparably intertwined. today marks 3 months without therapy
after almost 4 years of psychoanalysis,
of seeing my therapist 3 times a week.
still processing
and adapting.
forever grateful.

would love to exchange with others who’ve been through a similar process.
and if you’re thinking about starting therapy, also struggling with depression, anxiety, or panic attacks— i’m always happy to share experiences and what’s helped me so far.

November 9th this year marks the 35th anniversary of the Peaceful Revolution and the Fall of the Wall in the GDR. Thirty-five years ago tonight, the Berlin Wall, which had separated East and West Berlin for over 28 years, was opened after weeks of mass demonstrations throughout the GDR. This momentous event not only dismantled the strictly controlled border systems that isolated the entire GDR and its citizens from the rest of the world but also signaled the end of the dictatorship. It was a revolutionary and unique moment of hope and freedom—one that still moves me to tears today.

I find it astonishing that anyone could believe we can confine and control people with walls and borders. Walls didn’t work then, and they don’t work now. People will always fight for their freedom of movement, expressioon, and self-determination until they achieve it.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
