FALLEN - The Awakening

Choreographed for @lipadance in early 2026

Fallen explores the fall of Lucifer, and the splintering into the seven deadly sins. The Awakening was the opening scene; the moment Lucifer begins to question his existence.

Incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to work with this group of dancers again. Thank you for your trust, your dedication and your artistry. This piece came together the way it did as a result of your commitment and hard work. I’m so excited for the world to see you all.

So lucky to have an awesome friend back home who loves exploring creatively just as much as I do. Way too long since we did a collaboration, but so happy we found the time this winter. A HEART OF FIRE - Joy

A Heart Of Fire was a dance production inspired by David Almond’s “Skellig”, exploring themes of friendship, fear, magic and hope.

This piece was the ninth and final scene in the production, choreographed in collaboration between myself and @emmann2

This was the first time we did an entire piece in collaboration, and it was a really lovely way to wrap up the process. Challenging in different and exciting ways, pushing us both to think outside our own individual processes.

I’m so grateful we were able to put this story into movement alongside this cast, group of creatives and crew, and that we get to keep it as a memory forever🤍

A HEART OF FIRE - Moving Skellig / Two Heartbeats

A Heart Of Fire was a dance production inspired by David Almond’s “Skellig”, exploring themes of friendship, fear, magic and hope.

The first minute of this was an interlude Emma and I worked on together with the cast. The rest was the fifth scene in the production, choreographed by myself.

Narrative driven pieces have always been my favourites, and one of the many reasons why I always love creating alongside @emmann2 . A storyteller through and through, and one that makes me push myself in how we can convey stories through the marriage between movement and music.

Our sound designer @jackisaaccurtis reached out at the beginning of the process, expressing his interest in composing for the show, and I’m so glad we managed to find the time to explore building the sound landscape for this scene together.

@lipaliverpool remains the magic place it is for it’s cross-discipline opportunities, and it always fills my heart with joy seeing how students from all departments throw themselves into these.

This piece was the fourth scene in the production, choreographed by myself.

A HEART OF FIRE - Michael’s Nightmare

In the spring I was incredibly lucky to once again join my wonderful friend and inspiring creative @emmann2 for another production with the @lipadance second year dancers.

A Heart Of Fire was a dance production inspired by David Almond’s «Skellig», exploring themes of friendship, fear, magic and hope.

This piece was the third scene in the production, choreographed by myself.

All the love to the cast for their hard work, openess and dedication to bringing this piece to life. All the love to the creatives for bringing their voices to the vision, and making all the pieces come together in such a beautiful way. All the love to the crew who made it possible in real life, finding solutions and raising the bar of what we could achieve together. I love @lipaliverpool so much for how it allows young people to work together like this.

And of course, always the biggest love to @emmann2 for having me along for the journey. Always honoured to stand beside you and your artistry.

It’s been almost a year since this piece was put together, but finally managed to get footage from the spring showing of it, and as always want to give it the space it deserves on here.

I was so lucky to get to return to @trondertundans @trondertun for the 7th time to create this piece on and with the 24/25 cohort of young dance artists. Although my pieces are usually fused with different styles, this particular one took me down an experimental route, and my gratitude is massive to the cast who took it in stride and allowed it to become everything we had envisioned.

I hope you are all wonderful wherever you find yourselves in this moment🤍
